Daniel Laidlaw raised to 13,000 from the cutoff before Peter Aristidou - who had just doubled - moved all in for 130,000 from the big blind. Laidlaw called.
Aristidou:
Laidlaw:
Aristidou was at risk until the board ran out giving him trips queens on the flop to take the lead and improving to a full house by the river.
We arrived in time to see a sizable pot develop between Fedor Holz and Koray Aldemir. There was already over 80,000 in the pot with the board reading and Holz had just led out for a bet of 51,000.
An impassive Aldemir took his time over the decision but eventually slid in the call and the dealer peeled off the river.
Holz sat motionless for at least 2 minutes before placing a blue 25k chip on top of a towering stack of yellow 5k chips, adding in a few turquoise 1k chips for good measure and then sliding out a hefty bet of 148,000.
Aldemir thought it over for a few minutes, pausing to take a sip of his water while he mulled over the decision but eventually opted to fold. He slipped down to 485,000 while Holz rose to 660000 after the pot was shipped his way.
Daniel Laidlaw raised from the hijack before Gregory Heaver moved all in for around 110,000 from the button. The blinds folded back to Laidlaw who made the quick call.
Laidlaw:
Heaver:
The board ran out to see Heaver unable to improve as he hit the rail. Laidlaw was given back most of the chips he had lost in the previous hand to Peter Aristidou.
We arrived on the river in a heads-up pot between Shurane Vijayaram and Frank Pezzaniti which occured just before the break. We missed all the pre and post flop betting but there had obviously been plenty as the pot was huge and looked to be around 400,000.
With the community cards reading Vijayaram was all-in for another 165,000.
Pazzaniti had counted out the call but not yet pushed in the chips and was on his feet chewing his lip as he contemplated the decision as with a stack of 405,000 this represented a significant portion of his chips.
Nearly 4 minutes passed before Pazzaniti made his mind up and slid in the call. Vijayaram turned over with a flourish for quads to an audible groan from Pazzaniti who dropped to 240,000. With that spot of good fortune, Vijayaram is now up to 730,000 in chips.
A massive hand was brewing over on Table 32 when the action was caught from the turn.
Nicholas Dixon was on the table and informed that the hand started with Richard Ashby raising from middle position before Mustapha Kanit came over the top with a reraise. [Removed:17] then cold four-bet from the hijack as the decision folded back to Ashby. He folded. Kanit called.
The board came out and Kanit checked. Yan slid out a continuation bet only for Kanit to come back over the top to 175,000. Yan called.
The turn brought the and from there Kanit checked once more and Yan immediately reached for his chips. He stacked up a tower and slid out 140,000. Kanit called shortly after.
The completed the board and Kanit checked. Yan checked behind and flipped over his for a pair of kings. Kanit then turned over his for a set of queens and raked in the massive pot.
Michael Wiess opened the action with a raise to 12,000 from middle position picking up two callers in Jim Andreadis (button) and Ben Tollerene (big blind).
Tollerene and Weiss check the flop over to Andreadis who announced a bet of 36,000.
Tollerene check-raised all-in and Andreadis mucked pretty quickly, dropping to 182,000 while Tollerene raked in the pot to climb to 300,000.
