We arrived on the river in a heads-up pot between Shurane Vijayaram and Frank Pezzaniti which occured just before the break. We missed all the pre and post flop betting but there had obviously been plenty as the pot was huge and looked to be around 400,000.
With the community cards reading Vijayaram was all-in for another 165,000.
Pazzaniti had counted out the call but not yet pushed in the chips and was on his feet chewing his lip as he contemplated the decision as with a stack of 405,000 this represented a significant portion of his chips.
Nearly 4 minutes passed before Pazzaniti made his mind up and slid in the call. Vijayaram turned over with a flourish for quads to an audible groan from Pazzaniti who dropped to 240,000. With that spot of good fortune, Vijayaram is now up to 730,000 in chips.
