Another for Dunst

Nível 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

On a {7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop, Kitty Kuo checked from the small blind and then called when Tony Dunst bet 125,000 from the big. Kuo then check-called a bet of 280,000 on the {9-Spades} turn before checking for a third time on the {2-Clubs} river. Dunst bet 500,000, and after thinking for a couple of minutes Kuo released.

Engel Continues to Build on the Bubble

Nível 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Alexander Lynskey raised to 90,000 under the gun and Ari Engel called from the small blind. KC Wong came along from the big and three players took a flop of {8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades}. Two checks saw Lynskey continue for 120,000, and only Engel called to see the {5-Clubs} turn.

Engel turned right around and led out for 165,000, Lynskey called, and the {J-Clubs} completed the board on the river. Engel bet again, this time 265,000, and it did the trick as Lynskey released.

Hand-for-Hand Play Begins

Nível 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

With just one more player needed to fall before the final table of seven is established, hand-for-hand play has been initiated. That means the tables, which are playing four-handed, will play one hand before waiting for the other to finish.

Yuki Ko Eliminated in 9th Place (AU$160,000)

Yuki Ko - 9th Place
Yuki Ko - 9th Place

Action folded to Ari Engel on the button and he raised to 90,000. KC Wong folded from the small blind, Yuki Ko three-bet to 315,000, and Engel thought for a bit before making the call. Ko then led out for 320,000 on the {9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop, Engel called, and the dealer burned and turned the {10-Diamonds}.

Ko thought for a long time before betting 655,000, which left him about 800,000 behind. Engel paused for a few beats before announcing himself all in, and Ko called to discovered the bad news.

Engel: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Ko: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Ko was on the bad end of a cooler, and the final card he'd see in the 2016 Aussie Millions Main Event was the useless {6-Diamonds} river.

Small Pot to Engel

Nível 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Ari Engel limped in from the small blind and KC Wong checked from the big. Both players checked the {2-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop and the {10-Diamonds} hit the turn. Engel check called a bet of 40,000 now, only to lead out himself for 85,000 on the {A-Diamonds} river. Wong called, but mucked upon seeing Engel's {A-Spades}{3-Hearts} for the rivered top pair.
