Stephen Chidwick raised to 28,000 from the hijack only to have Martin Rowe three-bet to 63,000 from the button. After the blinds both folded, Chidwick moved all in for a little over 500,000 and Rowe snap-called.

Australian poker legend Tino Lechich just one a small pot with jacks and raised the next hand to 28,000 under the gun again. Jack O'Neill in the small blind three-bet to 76,000 and the big blind folded. Lechich instantly shoved all in for 326,000 total and O'Neill called just as quick.

Ari Engel raised to 24,000 under the gun and action folded to Sinan Aydogan in the small blind. Aydogan three-bet to 76,000 and the big blind released. Action was back on Engel and he pushed all in for 406,000.
Aydogan was in doubt for a bit, asked Engel "Why so much?" at one point, and eventually called.

The flop came making Engel the heavy favorite. Aydogan needed runner runner for a chop, but was drawing dead by the time he hit the on the turn. The on the river was of no importance and Engel doubled up.
From the cutoff seat, Joseph Sandaev raised to 26,000. Andrew Bassat reraised all in for 290,000 from the small blind, and Sandaev made the call with pocket jacks. Bassat had pocket queens, and the queens held for Bassat to give him the double up.
The hijack made it 24,000 and Billy Chattaway in the cutoff three-bet to 70,000. Jack O'Neill on the button cold four-bet to 140,000 and both blinds and the initial raiser folded. Action was back on Chattaway and he pushed all in. O'Neill called instantly.

The flop was good for Chattaway and he got up from his chair of excitement. The on the turn was a buzz killer though, making Chattaway drawing dead. The on the river was a blank and the tournament was down to 35 players.
Dylan Honeyman raised to 26,000 from middle position and was met by a three-bet to 66,000 from Adam Reynolds on the button. The blinds both folded, Honeyman just called, and the flop came down . Honeyman checked, Reynolds bet 78,000, and Honeyman paused for a few beats before check-raising all in. Reynolds wasted little time in calling off for 270,000 or so and discovered the bad news.

Both players held big pocket pairs, but Honeyman had the best of it. Reynolds began to get out of his chair and watched the dealer burned and turned the . Reynolds outs were swapped as he now needed a king to make a straight, but it wasn't in the cards as the blanked on the river.
With Reynolds' elimination in 37th place, the remaining 36 players will redraw into six tables of six.
Up on the feature table, James Ong raised from the under-the-gun position to 27,000. Play folded to Derek Wolters in the small blind, and he reraised all in for 178,000. Arthur Koren called from the big blind, and then Ong went into the tank. After a couple minutes, Ong folded, and it was Wolters' fighting against the for Koren.
The dealer produced the flop, and Wolters picked up a set of nines to take the lead. Despite the leapfrog, Koren still had an up-and-down straight draw plus he could hit a higher set.
The turn was the , and the river was the . Both of those kept Wolters in front, and he won the pot to double up.
