Igor Kurganov fired five bullets in this tournament, but it did him no good as he was just eliminated for the final table.
It happened when Jason Mercier raised to 13,000 under the gun, Kurganov three-bet jammed for 130,000 from the cutoff, and Fedor Holz moved all in from the small blind for 131,000. Mercier folded and Kurganov discovered the bad news.
