888Poker Ambassador Chris "888Moorman" Moorman have already made a final table in this Super XL Series, and the British poker pro's attempt at a second one is starting off just fine. Moorman didn't register until the beginning of level six, but despite just playing for 20 minutes, he's already been up to 35,000 chips.
A few minutes ago Moorman's march was brought to a halt when his failed to make a flush against an opponent's . The flop did bring two diamonds, but not turn nor river materialized for the poker pro.
Frederik "Poelsetyv" Jensen opened up the action for 1,200 from late position, just to see Brazilian player "WHATaDREAM" push his 11,585 chips to the middle from the small blind. Jensen mulled over his decision for a few minutes before calling with , and they were doing well against the of his opponent.
The flop kept the Dane in the lead, and the on the turn changed nothing. The river was just what the doctor ordered for "WHATaDREAM", and his two pair scooped the pot of 24,210.
We are two and a half hours into the Super XL Series Main Event, and so far only two players have crossed the barrier of 100,000 chips. In the lead is Swedish Madeon1994, who's up to 117,729 chips, while UK's "checktrap11" is playing catch up with 103,901.
Sweden's "Inho" came in for a raise to 1,380 from middle position before Nicolas "PKaiser" Fierro put his stack of 11,363 chips at risk a few folds later. The button and both blinds quickly got out of the way, but "Inho" made the call with and was in great shape against the of Fierro.
The flop brought a club draw for the Chilean, but it wasn't to be as the and rolled off on the turn and river. Fierro opted not to rebuy and left the tournament in 844th.
Less than a week ago Canada's Jonathan "chut_up" Van Fleet secured the victory after a thrilling final table of the Super XL Series High Roller. Despite the recent success, Van Fleet haven't really connected in this $1,050 Main Event yet and was just forced to make use of a rebuy to stay in contention for the title.
Van Fleet got his last 2,729 chips in the pot preflop, but his couldn't quite secure the win against the of Ukranian "GangstaGo". Van Fleet is now at it again with a fresh stack of 20,000 chips.
Nicolau "nicofellow" Villa-Lobos raised to 1,600 from the cutoff, before countryman "Fa.bi.ano" pushed all-in out of the small blind. Villa-Lobos wasted no time calling off his 19,721 chips, and the hands were on their backs.
