In a battle of the blinds, Ramon Miquel Munoz checked the flop and Bruno Politano bet 400. Miquel Munoz check-raised to 1,600 and Politano called before the fell on the turn. Politano faced a bet of 2,650 by Miquel Munoz and called, the river then completed the board.
Miquel Munoz bet 20,000 and that had Politano covered, the 888poker ambassador folded.
Stacy Matuson hasn't cashed live since last year's infamous WSOP Main Event, where the hand that made William Kassouf the overnight fame-bomb of poker defined her Main Event. She may have folded to Kassouf's "Nine high like a boss", but Matuson then got pretty unlucky to bust soon after and the pair never got the chance to renew acquaintances at that tournament.
Fast-forward 10 months and both players are here on Day 1c of the 888Live Main Event in Barcelona, patched up as they are for 888Poker. Matuson had started steadily in this hand, but by the end of it, she'd talked as much as her pal 'Willy K' from that infamous hand.
The hand Matuson just took part in didn't involve Kassouf, but she kicked off the action by opening to 675 chips from early position. Called in two places, the flop of saw Kaspar Druml bet 3,500 from the small blind. Matuson alone called.
The turn of saw a bet of 10,050 from Druml called by Matuson, but on the river of , Druml moved all-in for 33,000 chips. Matuson only had 20,000 to her name and a massive decision on her hands.
"I don't know how I can fold this." she exalted. "You raised me pre. I need some time, are you guys all right with this?"
The rest of table gave polite nods.
"This could be your big bluff." Matsuon continued.
"You think I'm bluffing. Really?" asked Druml.
"Three sixes? You weren't afraid of the river. Aces is no good, you know that, right? I know you don't have the set."
All right, so she didn't mention monkey nuts or macadamia nuts, but the spirit was there.
Eventually, Matuson called and showed , better than Druml's and good enough for a 76,000-chip pot.
"Woo! Ship it!" Matuson yelled. "I'm fearless, baby. I've done very well in tournaments, look me up."
Theo Steimer and Peter Jaksland re-entered today while Sergi Escote played on both previous starting days without bagging up chips. Escote is back and sits next to Harcharan Dogra Dogra, who has more than doubled his stack already after four levels of play.
According to the screens, there are 257 entries for Day 1c and that number is certain to grow in the coming hours.
On the turn, Andrej Desset bet 2,800 and Jordi Llombart Guerrero raised it up to 6,000 from one seat over. Desset moved all in and Llombart Guerrero asked for a count, then called when it was deemed to be 14,700.

The river brought no magic one-outer and Desset was eliminated for now.
Bruno Kawauti apparently played just a few hands before he was eliminated and Michael Mizrachi followed not long ago. First Arturo Jose Asensio Pobo doubled through him with nutflush versus rivered two pair, and then lost with king-queen for turned top pair and second nut flush draw against top pair, top kicker and the nut flush draw.
Patrik Antonius also played, but didn't last very long. Other players in action include Sally Stephens and Mladen Ivanov.
Kara Scott has departed from the 888Live Barcelona Main Event here on Day 1c, with all the chips going in on the flop when it came and Scott went all-in with and she was up against pocket queens.
Sadly for Kara Scott (and her many fans on Twitter) she missed a world of outs on turn and river and was out of the door.
Whoops! Looks like I'm beach-bound. Got all in with nut flush draw against overpair and did not hit. GL to those still in #888liveBarcelona
Bruno Doubled up with king-jack versus on a ten-high board when his opponent failed to get there with a gutshot and flush draw. Francois Evard has re-entered after being eliminated by Stacy Matuson and Harcharan Dogra Dogra no longer has to fear Antonio Perez Vico Barba, who is also out.
Last but not least, Isabel Baltazar appears to be in the lead with almost five times the starting stack.
After a raise by Fernando Cernadas Tierra from early position, Darren Quinn three-bet to 3,800 from the button. Cernadas Tierra then four-bet all in for 37,725 and Quinn called.

The board came and the Spaniard doubled with a full house.
