Half the field remains as both Carlos Egea Hernandez and Fernando Pons are no longer featured on Day 1 of the High Roller. The field has been reduced to 33 players out of a 65-entry strong field and less than half an hour remains before bagging and tagging.

The flop was a huge sweat for the Dutchman, but both the turn and river bricked off to eliminate Net.
On the turn, Patrik Antonius check-called a bet worth 15,000 by Sergi Escote Sanchez de Leon and checked again the river. Escote Sanchez de Leon now bet for 16,000 and Antonius, glancing up from a massage, check-raised big to 95,000.
After some consideration, the Spaniard called and Antonius rolled over for bottom pair only. Escote Sanchez de Leon had that beat with and raked in a big pot.
Harcharan Dogra Dogra raised to 9,000 and called the shove of short stack Ramon Miquel Munoz for 49,000 with the . Miquel Munoz only had , but got there on the turn of a board .
One more level is scheduled for tonight, and the remaining 37 players have been sent into a 15-minute break. The T-100 chips will be raced off and 45 minutes as well as the last hands stand between the participants and making Day 2.

The board ran out and Istomin turned the nut straight to bust Speranza.
In the last hand of the level, Gordon Huntly and Fraser MacIntyre saw the turn and Huntly bet 21,000 in the small blind. MacIntyre called from early position and did so again for 35,000 on the river. Huntly showed for top two, but MacIntyre had that beat with for a turned set.
"That's not good for the Scottish relationship," MacIntyre joked to his fellow countryman.
Harcharan Dogra Dogra defended his big blind against a raise by Xavier Riera Tayeda and checked the flop. Riera Tayeda checked behind and called the small bet of Dogra Dogra on the turn before doing so again for 15,000 on the river. Dogra Dogra mucked and forfeited the pot.
Riera Tayeda raised the next hand to 6,500 and Fraser MacIntyre defended the big blind. MacIntyre check-called a bet of 7,300 on the flop before the turn went check, check. The river paired the board and MacIntyre's bet of 13,200 forced a fold from the Spaniard.
Kimmo Kurko leaned over to fellow Finn Aku Joentausta from one seat over while he was all in for less than 10 big blinds. Kurko was at risk with the and his sole opponent on the button showed .
Kurko flopped well to get a set on , while Joentausta jokingly asked for a three on the turn. It was the blank river instead that saw Kurko double, but he remains well below the starting stack.
