Dia 1 Terminado
After twenty-one 30-minute levels of play, the first day of Event #33: $3,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em of the 2022 World Series of Poker at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas is officially completed. Although today was only Day 1, the tournament contributed significantly to the excitement of the WSOP, as 1,350 entrants, who created a $3,599,160 prize pool, filled up the Black section of the Paris’ vast tournament area.
Only 203 players made the money for at least a min-cash of $4,804 , with the 55 remaining players returning for Day 2 to battle it out for a top place prize of $594,079 and the coveted WSOP gold bracelet; they are currently guaranteed at least $8,950.

When the dust settled at the end of the night, it was Nino Ullmann that bagged the chip lead with a comfortable stack of 2,565,00. The German player has $664,000 in total live earnings so far with eight WSOP cashes, including a 15th place finish in the 2019 $888 Crazy Eights No-Limit Hold'em. He is closely followed by Rayan Chamas with 2,500,000. They both enjoy the company of a leaderboard full of notables, including Vanessa Kade who bagged 2,290,000 at the end of the day and will look to build on that figure tomorrow.
The bubble burst relatively quickly during Level 17. After having survived three other all-ins, Ralph Wong shoved 12 big blinds with pocket jacks and was called by Brian Green in the blinds with ace-queen. The latter found an ace on the turn to give him the best hand and eliminate Wong in the unfortunate bubble position.
A few notables cashed but could not find a bag at the end of the night, including the likes of Alex Foxen (138th - $5,254), Alex Keating (140th - $5,254), Alexandros Theologis (141th -$5,254), Andrew Moreno (184th - $4,804), Thomas Boivin (135th - $6,004), Antoine Saout (112th - $6,265) and Chad Eveslage (117th - $6,265). The defending champion, Brian Rast took a seat today to defend his title and also finished in the money in 188th place for $4,804.
Among those hitting the rail before the money in this event included many bracelets winners such as Chris Moorman, Nick Yunis, Main Event champions Martin Jacobson and Ryan Riess, Kristen Foxen, Chance Kornuth, Romain Lewis, Ben Heath, Joseph Cheong in addition to Brazilian footballer Neymar Jr. just to name a few.
Players will return on Thursday, June 16th at 2 p.m. local time to battle it out for the WSOP gold bracelet. The tournament will resume at Level 22 with blinds of 15,000/30,000 with a big blind ante of 30,000, and with 40-minutes levels.
