The J♥ river paired the board and saw Arends check to Sturm, who announced a bet of 1,350,000. Arends thought for some time before jamming with the covering stack. Sturm appeared uncomfortable with the situation, playing with his chips as Arends covered his face with his hoodie. After quite some time, Sturm did muck his holding to take a big hit to his stack late in the day.
