Another busy day of action at 888poker LIVE Bucharest is set to begin, with the second of four opening flights in the €560 Main Event. The tournament carries a guaranteed €200,000 prize pool, with unlimited reentries and late registration open until the start of Day 2 on Saturday.
Day 1a saw a total of 110 entries at 888poker Room Bucharest, with Ran Shahar leading the 34 players who bagged chips after 12 levels of play. His stack of 214 big blinds is what players will be chasing as the field continues to grow in the Romanian capital.
This is the sixth day of the festival, with more poker professionals and online qualifiers joining the action at 5 p.m. local time.

The opening day saw eight Romanians sit inside the top ten, while 888poker qualifiers Jack Sharpe and Laurentiu Paunas found a bag to continue their tournament journey.
Day 1b kicks off at 5 p.m. local time, with the opening blind level set at 100/100 and a 100 big blind ante. Players start with 50,000 chips, looking to navigate a total of twelve 45-minute levels with a 15-minute break after every three levels.

Zainescu checked the A♣ river, making the call once Matei fired 1,200. Matei showed Q♠7♠ for a bluff, while Zainescu turned over 8♣8♦ to take an early pot.
