Greece's Garnelis Georgios (630,000) topped the end of day chip counts in Day 1c of Event #5: €550 No-Limit Hold'em COLOSSUS which played out at King's Resort, Rozvadov. The starting flight, which wrapped up after 18 levels of play had just 38 of the 363 entries bagging and tagging for Day 2.

Andreas Kuecuekkaplan (542,000) and Israel's Yosef Levi (542,000) round of the top three stacks advancing to the next stage of the event. Kuecuekkaplan knocked out Gudmundur Sigurjonsson with a turned full house.

The latter asked Kuecuekkaplan if he was slowrolling him as he took his time to call when the Icelandic player moved all-in.

Notable names who were who fell at the first hurdler include Krzysztof Dulowski, Ali Sameeian, Peter Da and WSOP bracelet winner Sebastian Langrock.

Liverpool's Daniel Myers fell late on in the night after moving all-in with top two pair, but found himself behind the flopped straight made by Volodymyr Siekhov. Despite not making Day 2, he secured a cash prize of €983.

With the recent government announcements in the Czech Republic, there will only be four total flights for this event. Starting tomorrow, there will only be one flight per day with a 1,000 player cap, starting at 10 a.m. each day. Day 2 players will also be returning at 10 a.m. and playing down to a final table, which will then be carried out on Day 3.
