Martini Takes More from Baker

Nível 26 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

David "ODB" Baker opened from early position with {4-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Julien Martini was the only caller from the big blind, holding {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Martini check-called Baker's continuation bet for 210,000.

The {6-Spades} on the turn gave two pair to Martini and both players checked.

The {8-Diamonds} came on the river and Martini led for 775,000, forcing a quick fold from Baker.

Who Will Reach the Final Table of the 2019 WSOPE Main Event?

Dario Sammartino
Dario Sammartino

The penultimate day of the 2019 World Series of Poker Europe €10,350 Main Event will kick off at noon local time in Europe's biggest poker arena at the King's Resort in Rozvadov. A field of 541 entries has been cut down to the final 14 hopefuls and they have €47,599 locked up for their efforts so far, however, all eyes are set on the top prize of €1,133,678, the coveted gold bracelet that comes along with it and engraving their name in the poker history books.

Dario Sammartino has the chance to become the fourth player to reach the final table of the WSOP and WSOPE Main Event in the same year and enters Day 5 as the chip leader with 7,430,000, narrowly ahead of David "ODB" Baker (7,305,000) and Anthony Zinno (6,950,000). Baker and Zinno won their second WSOP bracelet earlier this year in Las Vegas and the top trio also has a shot at the 2019 WSOP Player of the Year ranking if they were to win the event and run deep in The COLOSSUS after.

Another three WSOP bracelet winners remain in contention in Rifat Palevic (5,160,000), Julien Martini (4,520,000), and Jan-Peter Jachtmann (2,835,000). Anh Do has the chance to keep the title on home soil and will enter Day 5 with a stack of 4,175,000.

Besides Jachtmann, the German-speaking poker community is also represented by Claas Segebrecht (3,920,000), Daniel Rezaei (3,675,000), and Christian Rudolph (1,875,000).

Alexandros Kolonias may not play many live tournaments per year anymore but the third in the Greek all-time money list knows what it takes to run deep in events with more than $2.4 million in cashes and enters Day 5 with 1,835,000. King's Resort regular Marek Blasko (1,635,000), Jakob Madsen (1,460,000) and Mykola Kostyrko (1,425,000) round up the Day 5 line-up.
