Diaz Busts Gkatzas With Quads

Nível 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Dimitrios Gkatzas
Dimitrios Gkatzas

On a flop of {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{10-Spades}, Dimitrios Gkatzas ended up all in and at risk against Guillaume Diaz and showed the {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}{J-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a flush draw and gutshot. Diaz held the {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for trips and the {Q-Hearts} turn left the Greek drawing dead, which made the {6-Spades} river a formality.

Dario Alioto: {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The board came {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Kilian failed to connect with the board to become the second casualty of the day.

Geonka Doubles and Triples; Kilian Has Chip and a Chair

Nível 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

On the river of a board {J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, Toni Haemaelaeinen called the shove of Jonas Kilian and flashed the {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for a full house. Kilian briefly showed {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and was left with a chip and a chair.

In the meanwhile, Manish Goenka first doubled and then tripled up to return into contention.

Diaz Doubles; Goenka Very Short

Nível 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Sergei Popov raised the pot and Guillaume Diaz pushed all in from one seat over for 99,000. Action folded to Popov and he called.

Guillaume Diaz: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Sergei Popov: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The board came {10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and Diaz held up with aces up. Popov was left with 13,000 and doubled the next hand.

One table over, Manish Goenka bet the river of a board {10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for 60,000 in the cutoff. Oleg Pavlyuchuk check-folded in the small blind and Hanh Tran tank-called in the big blinds with the words "I hope you are bluffing."

Goenka indeed was, as he showed the {J-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, and Tran claimed the pot with {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} to leave Goenka on two big blinds.
