In the fifth hand of hand-for-hand play, Michal Mrakes raised to 4,500 from the button and the player in the small blind and Refat Palevic, in the big blind, called.
They all checked through the on the flop. The turn brought them the , the small blind checked, Palevic also checked but Mrakes made it 6,200. The player in the small blind called, Palevic shoved for 33,000. Mrakes took some time to think but he called. The small blind folded.

Mrakes had flopped top pair and Palevic turned a pair of queens. Palevic needed a queen to survive the bubble but the wasn't that and he has been eliminated from the tournament.
The board read with a pot of about 88,000 on the table already. Brandon Cantu, in the big blind had checked, Bernd Gleissner, in mid-position bet 56,500, Cantu responded with a shove having Gleissner covered.
Gleissner went into the tank, he counted out the chips he still had behind which was about 35,000. Looked at the tournament clock to see how many players were still left. 34 players were left with 4 more needed to bust before the players were in the money. Looked at his cards again and wasn't too happy. He looked at the clock again, now there were 33 players left. Huffed and then made the call.

Gleissner had top pair but Cantu had flopped two pair, nines and threes. Gleissner needed another ace, jack or six to survive but the river completed the board with the . Cantu took the pot and Gleissner left the tournament area just short of reaching the money.
Just before the break Kevin MacPhee won a hand when the board read and Bernd Gleissner had checked. MacPhee bet 6,700 and Gleissner called.
The river completed the board with the to pair the board, Gleissner checked again, now MacPhee bet 10,500 and Gleissner called before the dealer could even count how much the bet was for. Gleissner showed for two pair, kings and tens but MacPhee had him beat with for the same two pair but with the ace-kicker.

The flop came , the player in the big blind was sitting back down as he hit the ace. The turn came with the but then the river brought the giving Mrakes the set of tens and the two eliminations to his name.
Kristen Bicknell and Fabian Gumz were both just eliminated by Brandon Cantu in two hands.
The first hand Kristen Bicknell had raised to 2,800, Fabian Gumz three-bet shove for 18,500 and then Brandon Cantu four-bet shoved for about 48,000 and Bicknell called.

The board ran out - Cantu hit a flush to eliminate Gumz from the tournament and leave Bicknell behind with about 13 big blinds.
Then Bicknell got it in with sevens against Cantu's ace-jack and the jack fell on the flop so she was sent to the rail and Cantu took the chip lead.
