Tomovic Doubles Through Hellmuth

Nível 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Ognjen Sekularac raised to 5,000 on the button and Phil Hellmuth three-bet from the small blind to 15,000. Aleksandar Tomovic four-bet all in for 24,800 and Sekularac folded, while Hellmuth called after having briefly asked for a count.

Aleksandar Tomovic: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Phil Hellmuth: {J-Clubs}{2-Hearts}

The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Tomovic doubled.

Bojang Busts; Deviatov Thriving

Nível 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Ismael Bojang
Ismael Bojang

Ismael Bojang was among the first players to bust and his former table mates including Phil Hellmuth were left four-handed, awaiting a new player. Jerry Odeen as next big blind was moved over, however had to wait until the current hand on his own table was finished.

On the {K-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}{Q-Hearts} turn, Andriy Lyubovetskiy bet 25,200 in the small blind and Dmitrii Deviatov called from the big blind. The {10-Spades} appeared on the river and Lyubovetskiy checked. Deviatov bet 43,000 and that forced a fold after plenty of consideration.

Yankov Turns Treccarichi Dead

Nível 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

On a board reading {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, Krasimir Yankov checked from the cutoff to Walter Treccarichi on the button. Treccarichi slid forward a stack of T5,000 chips, enough to cover Yankov's remaining stack of 58,800. Yankov immediately called and turned over {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} for a full house.

Treccarichi tabled {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a straight and flush draw but was already drawing dead to Yankov's hand. The insignificant {4-Diamonds} landed on the river and Yankov doubled through Treccarichi in the first level of play.

"ElkY" Hits the Rail

Nível 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Bertrand Grospellier
Bertrand Grospellier

Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier came into the day as one of the short stacks and he shoved all-in for a little less than 20,000 from under the gun. Ioli Alexandr was in the big blind and made the call.

Bertrand Grospellier: {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Ioli Alexandr: {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Grospellier was in a dominated position and things didn't change after the dealer fanned the flop of {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}. The turn brought the {4-Hearts} and the river was the {5-Spades}. Grospellier was sent to the rail early on in Day 2.

Larabi Busts Sapra

Nível 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

A raise by Bernard Larabi was followed by the shove of short stack Sumit Sapra from the cutoff and Larabi called.

Sumit Sapra: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Bernard Larabi: {A-Spades}{8-Spades}

The {J-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} was bad news for Sapra already, and the {Q-Spades} turn gave Larabi a flush. Sapra needed the board to pair, but instead it was the {K-Spades} river that ended his hopes of a cash in the 6-max event.
