Lykov Is the King of the Kastle

Nível 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Casey Kastle
Casey Kastle

Maxim Lykov raised to 4,000 and the hijack called. Casey Kastle peeked at his cards and announced "I raise" loud and clear before tossing in his last 4,500 chips from the cutoff. "Everybody get out if you know what's good for you," the American joked. Christoph Richter was having none of it and shoved for around 25,000 right behind him, and Lykov called, forcing out the hijack.

Casey Kastle: {J-Spades}{9-Spades}
Christoph Richter: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Maxim Lykov: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{A-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Lykov sent both short stacks to the rail.

Petleshkov Rising

Nível 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Viliyan Petleshkov's raise from under the gun was called by Andrej Desset in the big blind and both checked a flop of {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Desset bet the {8-Diamonds} turn for 6,600 and Petleshkov called before Desset checked and called a bet worth 20,000 by Petleshkov on the {3-Diamonds} river. The Bulgarian showed {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and that won the pot.

Right after, Alexander Schlien won a flip with {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} against the {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} of Desset on a board of {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts} before a short stack shoved for 10,500. Petleshkov called on the button and held up with {K-Hearts}{K-Spades} versus {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} in showdown, as the board came {Q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

Down to 49 Players

Nível 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

The entertainment program over on table 83 has suddenly stopped as Martin Kabrhel first squeezed into four limpers and lost more than half of his stack against Krasimir Yankov. Soon after, Kabrhel shipped his remaining chips over to Rene Crha and the table was suddenly silent.

According to the screens, there are just 49 players remaining in the penultimate level of the night.

Add On for Adomkevicius

Nível 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Aneris Adomkevicius
Aneris Adomkevicius

The player that had doubled Richard Pfeffer previously scored two miracle double ups in quick succession, with {6-}{4-} versus ace-king and {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} against the same hand, before Aneris Adomkevicius put an end to the comeback story. On the heads-up flop of {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, Adomkevicius called the shove for 33,100 with {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} and was shown {A-Hearts}{8-Spades} only.

The {4-Spades} turn locked things up for the Lithuanian, making the {10-Clubs} river a formality. "I think he was tilt," Adomkevicius said in table chat while raking in the pot. Aleksandar Tomovic had been eliminated from the same table before.

Lars Kamphues shoved from late position and James Hoeppner called all in for 16,100 from the big blind with {A-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. Kamphues only had {Q-Spades}{8-Spades}, and despite flopping best on {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, Hoeppner got there with the {4-Hearts} turn and {2-Hearts} river to double his short stack and leave Kamphues on life support. The German lost the remaining few chips soon after.

Jan Bendik
Jan Bendik

With around 21,000 in the pot already, the flop came {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Viliyan Petleshkov checked from late position. Jan Bendik was on the button and bet 10,000. Petleshkov made the call and the {q-Hearts} paired the board on the turn.

Both players checked and the {8-Spades} completed the board. Both players tapped the table again and Petleshkov revealed {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. Bendik sent his cards to the muck and the chips to Petleshkov.
