James Dempsey Through To Final Table

Nível 3 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

James Dempsey raises to 5,000 and Adrien Allain comes over the top and makes it 12,000 to play. Before we know it there has been a flurry of action and the cards are on their backs.

Dempsey{A-Spades} {J-Clubs}
Allain{9-Diamonds} {9-Hearts}

The dealer gets busy putting the {J-Spades}{K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} flop out, improving Dempsey to a pair of jacks. The turn is the {A-Diamonds} and Allain can only chop with a ten or a nine. The river is the {3-Hearts} and Dempsey wins the hand.

The dealer counts the stacks and Dempsey covers slightly so Allain is eliminated and Dempsey makes the final table.

Tristan Wade won a monster pot that left David Peters with less than three big blinds at the end.

The two saw a {9-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{k-Spades} flop and Wade check-raised up to 13,700 after Peters had bet 4,600. Call. Wade went on to bet 22,200 on the {6-Spades} turn and 76,500 all-in on the {3-Hearts} river. Peters called both times with {9-Hearts}[9d for set set but he could beat the flopped straight that Wade had with {j-Spades}{10-Spades}.

Peters managed to double-up once but was out the next time his chips were in the middle. Wade takes through 238,000.
