Aggression Gets Baker the Pot

Nível 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

After an early-position raise to 800, David "ODB" Baker re-raised it to 2,500. It folded back to the original raiser, who called, and the flop came down {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. Baker's opponent went to grab his chips a couple of times, looking ready to bet, but he ended up checking. Baker fired out the same bet, 2,500, and his opponent didn't take very long to fold.

Adam Owen Takes it on the River

Nível 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Adam Owen was heads-up on a completed board of {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{8-Spades}{q-Clubs} when his opponent checked to him. Owen assembled a bet of 4,700, which was just over a half-pot-sized bet, and his opponent thought it over for about a minute before he released his hand.

Owen might have gotten a late start due to his hair appointment, but he is steadily chipping up with just under 30,000 now.
