Hands #17-23: Gimbel Wins a Big One

Nível 28 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Hand #17: John Griffin opened to 130,000 from the cutoff, and Chance Kornuth called out of the big blind.

Griffin bet 175,000 on the {10-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop, and Kornuth check-called. The turn was the {2-Hearts}, and both players checked to the {9-Clubs} on the river. Kornuth led with a bet of 585,000, and Griffin called.

Kornuth tabled {q-Clubs}{7-Spades} and lost to the {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} of Griffin.

Hand #18: Chris Farmer opened to 125,000, and Elio Bozzano defended his big blind.

The flop was {4-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}, and Bozzano check-called a bet of 155,000. The {10-Hearts} fell on the turn, and both players saw the {j-Clubs} on the river for free. Both checked again, and Bozzano tabled {k-Clubs}{10-Spades} to beat Farmer's {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}.

Hand #19: Griffin opened to 130,000 and got called by Kornuth and Harrison Gimbel, in the big blind.

The flop came {7-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}, and all three checked to the {2-Hearts} on the turn. Gimbel bet 225,000, and both opponents called. When the {2-Diamonds} completed the board, Gimbel bet 625,000 and took down the pot.

Hand #20: Kornuth took down the pot after opening to 130,000 preflop, getting a call from Griffin in the big blind, and continuing on the {q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop for 90,000. Griffin folded.

Hand #21: Gimbel opened to 120,000 on the button, and Farmer defended his big blind. Gimbel bet again on the {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{a-Spades} flop and won the pot.

Hand #22:Farmer shoved from the small blind and won the pot.
