Erik Seidel opened to 250 under the gun and was called by the button and the small blind. The flop came and the big blind checked. Seidel bet 500, the button called, and the small blind called.
On the turn, the big blind checked, Seidel bet 2,000, and both opponents called again. The river was the and the big blind checked once more. Seidel bet 5,000. He got two folds and took down the pot.
Action folded around to Chance Kornuth in the button who opened to 250. The small blind and the big blind both called.
The dealer spread a flop of and it was checked to Kornuth who bet 200. The player in the small blind called but the one in the big blind let his hand go.
The turn was the and was checked through the river. The player first to act checked and Kornuth threw in a bet of 500 that was enough to make his opponent fold.
With more than 6,500 in the pot already and the board reading , the player in the small blind checked and Larry Greenberg bet 4,200 on the button. His opponent then check-raised to 12,200 and Greenberg asked him, "Do you have ace-ten?"
He thought for just a little while and called with for the straight to the king for the second-nuts. His opponent tabled for two pairs and Greenberg took down the pot.
Many top tournament players are filling in the six-handed tables in Amazan Purple. Among them are players who have had much success here at the WSOP including 2010 WSOP Main Event winner and 2015 $111,111 High Roller for One Drop winner Jonathan Duhamel. Joseph Cheong, who took third in the Main Event the year Duhamel won, is here too.
