JRB Advances in Dramatic Fashion
Jean-Robert Bellande and Michael Ross were practically even in chips when they got it all in on a board both holding a straight. However, Bellande had and was freerolling if a club hit the river. Lo and behold, the river came the and Bellande won with a flush!
After counting down their stacks, Ross had Bellande covered by 475 chips. Ross proceeded to double up in three consecutive hands when he and Bellande decided to get it all in preflop blind and got his stack back up to 3,900.
Finally, Bellande opened the button to 2,000 and Ross went all in. Bellande called and their hands were turned up.

The board ran out and Bellande rivered a pair of tens for the win.

Chris Chatman and Dustin Leary Bag for Day 2
Chris Chatman beat Jason Latourette heads-up to claim his spot in Day 2 of Event #3. Latourette says Chatman "sucked out" on him, which Chatman denies. Latourette and Chatman seem to be friends and it was just unfortunate that they drew the same table.
Dustin Leary also went through to Day 2 after outlasting a pair of German high rolllers. Christian Christner and Rainer Kempe were both at Leary's table and Leary eventually beat Christner heads-up to win the table.
Hao Liu also booked his ticket to Day 2 shortly after.
