Welcome to an extra day in Event #86: $10,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em as six players return at noon local time here at the 2022 World Series of Poker at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas. There were 394 entries into the tournament to create a total prize pool of $3,674,050 and sixty of them got paid over the previous two days. But the lion's share of the kitty will be handed out today as the winner will walk away with one of the last WSOP bracelets on top of the first-place prize of $824,649.

Pavel Plesuv is leading the pack today with 6,890,000 which is worth a nice number of 69 big blinds at the start of the day. With over $5 million in live tournament cashes, he could come very close to the $6 million mark today. In second place you can find Gregory Jensen who finished in fourth place in Event #42: $100,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em for $571,896 which was his biggest career cash ever. Some loyal friends railed him throughout Day 2 which also included Galen Hall.

Following him in third place is Ali Eslami who won Event #36: $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better for $135,260 earlier this summer to get him to over $1.25 million in just WSOP cashes alone. Eslami is coming back to the felt with 3,785,000 in his stack. Barak Wisbrod won the $1,000 Tag Team No-Limit Hold'em event back in 2019 and one of his team mates, Ohad Geiger was on his rail.

Joining those four players on the final table today are Lucas Foster with 24 big blinds and Brock Wilson with 21 big blinds. For Foster, this is the biggest live tournament cash for him but for Wilson a win today would also get him close to $6,000,000 in live tournament winnings.

The board read {4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and Gregory Jensen checked in the big blind. Brock Wilson thought about it for a bit from under the gun and oped to check too. Jensen tabled the {q-Hearts}{7-Clubs} in the first hand of the day to show he had two pair to claim the pot as Wilson mucked his hand.

Nível 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Ali Eslami raised to 200,000 from the hijack and Lucas Foster defended his big blind. The flop came {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades}, Foster check-folded to the 325,000 continuation-bet of Eslami,

On the next hand, Barak Wisbrod raised to 220,000 from the button and got no call.

And on the third hand, Foster raised to 225,000 from the button. Pavel Plesuv took some time and three-bet to 675,000 from the small blind. Foster four-bet jammed for Plesuv to give up immediately.

Brock Wilson Eliminated in 6th Place ($117,819)

Nível 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Brock Wilson
Brock Wilson

Pavel Plesuv raised to 200,000 from under the gun and Gregory Jensen called in the cutoff. Brock Wilson three-bet to 750,000 from the button, keeping 10,000 behind. The blinds folded and so did Plesuv. Jensen confirmed the amount and then made the call.

The flop came {3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{9-Spades}, Jensen bet for Wilson to make the call for the 10,000 he still had.

Brock Wilson: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Gregory Jensen: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Wilson was ahead but the rest of the board was completed with the {7-Diamonds} on the turn and the {10-Hearts} on the river for Jensen to hit it for the pair of tens to get the field down to five players.

"That's seven in a row," Galen Hall commented. "That's seven all-ins in a row where the hand from behind wins."

"Don't worry," Jensen commented. "I wasn't planning on getting it in good," he added with a smile.

Foster Makes the Right Call

Nível 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

The board read {8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} and Gregory Jensen bet 250,000 from the big blind for Lucas Foster to make the call from the cutoff.

The river completed the board with the {8-Hearts} and Jensen fired a bet of 650,000 over the line. Foster contemplated his options and then called. Jensen showed the {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for the bluff for Foster to table the {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} for two pair and the pot.

Barak Wisbrod Eliminated in 5th Place ($164,304)

Nível 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Barak Wisbrod
Barak Wisbrod

Ali Eslami limped in on the button and Barak Wisbrod shoved from the big blind for what looked around 2,660,000. Eslami considered all his options carefully as it would take a big chunk out of his stack if he was wrong. He made the call.

Barak Wisbrod: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Ali Eslami: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}

The flop came {j-Hearts}{a-Spades}{7-Spades} for Eslami to hit the higher pair and pick up the nut flush draw.

The turn was the {q-Diamonds} which didn't change things and neither did the {5-Diamonds} on the river for Wisbrod to bust in fifth place.

Plesuv Makes the Right Call

Nível 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

With around 500,000 in the middle, the flop read {q-Spades}{a-Spades}{4-Spades}.

Lucas Foster bet 250,000 from the small blind and Pavel Plesuv made the call from the big blind.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and Foster continued with a bet of 480,000 which Plesuv called.

The river completed the board with the {5-Hearts} and Foster fired a bet of 750,000 out. Plesuv considered it then called.

"Good call," Foster defeatedly said before showing the {k-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for the pair of fours. Plesuv showed the {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for top pair and the pot.
