Action has ended for the day in Event #62: $1,500 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout with 20 players remaining. The tournament was scheduled as a single-day event but another day was added due to the size of the field.

Chris Fraser had a fantastic day that saw him bagging an impressive 22 bounties worth $500 a piece for $11,000 in bounty prizes. The Englishman is after his first bracelet and looking to add to his $423,272 in Hendon Mob-reported earnings.

Despite all the bounties, Fraser bagged 1,350,000 in chips to put him toward the bottom of the pack, while big stacks include John Bredengerd (8,500,000), David Sanchez (6,850,000) and Shaun Colquhoun (5,500,000).

The Super Turbo Bounty event attracted 2,569 entrants, which is nearly double the 1,441 players that entered last year. The tournament generated $2,145,115 in prize money with a minimum cash being worth $1,502 and a first-place prize of $301,396.

Players who were in the action early included big names like Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth, David Peters, Nadya Magnus, Shannon Shorr, Joe Cada, David Williams, Alex Foxen and Scott Seiver.

With 20-minute levels, it didn't take long for the field to dwindle down and by the dinner break, there were less than 200 players remaining.

Notably, poker media figure Kevin "Kevmath" Mathers locked up his first cash in a WSOP bracelet event and ultimately fell in 362nd place when his pocket tens were pipped by an opponent's fishhooks.

Others who cashed in the Super Turbo Bounty event include Brian Altman, Eric Froehlich, Kevin MacPhee, Adrian Buckley, JC Tran, Dara O'Kearney, Joao Vieira and 2013 Main Event Champion Ryan Riess.

Sanchez Doubles Through Ho; But Can't Quite Snag His Bounty

Blinds: 100,000/150,000/150,000

David Sanchez was all in preflop versus Kyle Ho with the players holding very similar stacks.

David Sanchez: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}
Kyle Ho: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

The {a-Spades}{4-Spades}{k-Diamonds} flop brought excitement, pairing Ho's ace, but also giving Sanchez a pair of kings and a flush draw.

The {2-Diamonds} turn did nothing for anyone, but the {10-Clubs} on the river gave Sanchez a winning two pair.

After the chips were counted down, Sanchez received a full double up, with Ho holding just 40,000 chips after the hand, less than half of a small blind.

Guilbert Crosses Four Million

Blinds: 60,000/120,000/120,000

After Jesus Garibay shoved his final 200,000 from early position, Romain Guilbert in the big blind was the only party interested in collecting his bounty. He also had a hand to do it with.

Jesus Garibay: {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Romain Guilbert: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}

The board came {8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} to eliminate Garibay and send the field to its three-table redraw.

Fours Hold for Lee

Blinds: 60,000/120,000/120,000

The small blind limped in and Jae "Unbelievable" Lee raised all-in for 1,500,000 from the big blind. The small blind took a moment and called.

Jae "Unbelievable" Lee: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Small Blind: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Lee was able to win the flip to double up and stay alive as the board ran out {8-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}.

Fisher Felted Shortly After Folding

Blinds: 60,000/120,000/120,000

Not long after preserving his stack against Elvis Toomas, Manuel Fischer opted to jam the last of his chips in from the hijack, only to be called by Kerrie Shelton on the button.

Manuel Fischer: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Kerrie Shelton: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The board came {6-Spades}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, giving Shelton Fischer's bounty, and boosting his stack over 2,500,000

Fischer Won't Risk His Stack For Toomas' Bounty

Blinds: 50,000/100,000/100,000

While the average stack size in the room is just over 20 big blinds, there still is the potential for some postflop play or raising and folding.

Case in point a recent raise to 200,000 from Manuel Fischer in early position was met by a jam for a bit over 1,000,000 by Elvis Toomas in late position.

Fischer chose to fold rather than risk ten big blinds and go after Toomas' bounty, with Toomas adding a quick 450,000 to his stack without showdown.
