Day 3 has officially concluded in Event #55: $1,000 Tag Team with just 5 teams remaining and Team Paggeot bagging the chip lead. Corey Paggeot and Jamie Kerstetter will head into the fourth and final day of the tournament with a stack of 7,975,000 and right behind them are Yutaro Tsugaru and Taichi Ichikawa of Team Tsugaru with 4,900,000.

The other teams that will be returning include Patrick Leonard and Espen Jørstad of Team Leonard, Franco Spitale and Martin Pochat of Team Spitale, and Mackenzie Kraemer and Jon Schiller of Team Kraemer.

Other teams that didn’t make the cut were Jeff Lennon and Deborah Wall of Team Lennon, who were eliminated when Wall’s pocket queens were beaten by Team Vankeuren’s ace-king. Harry Lodge and Colin Robinson of Team Robinson were also eliminated today as Lodge ran his pocket kings into Yutaro Tsugaru’s pocket aces. Ryan O’Grady and Adam Russel came into the day second in chips and were close to bagging but were knocked in the last level of play by Team Paggeot.

Play ended with the final five so that they could return tomorrow to be broadcasted on the PokerGo live stream at 4p.m. Play will begin at 4pm with a one-hour delay meaning the stream will air at 5p.m. Pacific Time.
