Big Slick Does The Trick For Schindler

Nível 10 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Jake Schindler from an earlier event
Jake Schindler from an earlier event

Anthony Zinno limped under-the-gun and James Chen raised to 60,000 from the hijack. Action folded to Jake Schindler in the small blind, who shoved for 225,000. Only Chen called.

James Chen: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}
Jake Schindler: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Schindler was in terrible shape, but the {2-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} gave Schindler a sweat to a king or a diamond.

The {3-Diamonds} came right in on the turn, leaving Chen drawing dead.

An irrelevant {4-Spades} completed the board and Schindler doubled up.

Jason Koon: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

Koon had Schindler dominated, and the {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades}{8-Diamonds} runout awarded Koon the double up.

Addamo Beats the Clock to Leave Brewer Short

Nível 8 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Michael Addamo
Michael Addamo

A big pot was brewing on the {3-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{q-Spades} turn. There was already about 200,000 in the middle and Chris Brewer put out a pot-sized bet of 200,000. Michael Addamo called and the river was the {5-Diamonds}.

Brewer fired another 700,000 representing most of his remaining stack. Addamo sighed and leaned into the table, staring at the board for answers as he went deep into the tank for a few minutes. Eventually, the clock was called and the floorman began counting down. With five seconds left on the count, Addamo put in a stack of chips to signify a call.

Brewer shook his head and turned over {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for jack-high. Addamo revealed {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for two pair and won the pot.

"I knew you were going to call once the clock was called," said Brewer. "I've seen it before."

Brewer was upset at his tablemate Mustapha Kanit for calling the clock.

"It was such a massive pot," said Brewer.

Addamo quietly collected the pot as he moved into the chip lead.

Nobody Can Beat Addamo

Michael Addamo

Sergio Aido opened to 25,000 from under the gun and Cary Katz shoved all in for around 200,000 in the cutoff. Michael Addamo re-shoved all in from the small blind which got Aido to quickly fold.

Cary Katz: {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Michael Addamo: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

It was a coin flip and Katz held the lead after the {q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop. However, the {a-Spades} on the turn gave Addamo a pair of aces and the {3-Diamonds} on the river sent Katz to the rail.

"Nobody beats Addamo," Katz mumbled as he got up from his seat. "Impossible."

Sammartino Runs Into Aces

Nível 4 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Dario Sammartino (in earlier event)
Dario Sammartino (in earlier event)

Dario Sammartino raised it up from middle position and Aleksandr Shevlyakov three-bet to 30,000 in the cutoff. Scott Ball four-bet to 62,500 out of the small blind and Sammartino stuck in a five-bet to 112,000. Shevlyakov folded and Ball moved all in. Sammartino thought for a moment before calling off his stack of 404,000.

Dario Sammartino: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Scott Ball: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

It was an uphill battle for Sammartino and the flop of {6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} provided no help. The {10-Spades} on the turn meant Sammartino was drawing dead to the {5-Hearts} on the river.

With several thousand already in the middle on a flop of {4-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{j-Spades}, Ali Imsirovic bet 45,000 from the big blind and was called by Dylan Linde in the cutoff.

Imsirovic then shoved for his last 95,000 on the {4-Diamonds} turn and Linde called after a bit of thought.

Ali Imsirovic: {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Dylan Linde: {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The {k-Diamonds} river kept Linde out in front and Imsirovic was eliminated.

Aido Gets Paid from Kade

Nível 2 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Sergio Aido
Sergio Aido

Sergio Aido raised it up from the cutoff and Vanessa Kade three-bet to 21,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Aido made it 62,500. Kade just called and the dealer fanned the flop of {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}.

Aido led out with a bet of 50,000 and Kade called to see the {j-Diamonds} on the turn. Aido went smaller this time with a bet of 42,000 and Kade still called.

The river was the {6-Clubs} and Aido moved all in for 133,500. Kade wasted little time before calling and Aido flipped over {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for trip jacks. Kade flashed {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} before her cards went into the muck.

Jake Daniels
Jake Daniels

Scott Ball opened to 6,000 and Dan Smith called from the button. Jake Daniels then shoved from the small blind for his last 35,500 and Ball called. Smith got out of the way and Daniels was at risk.

Scott Ball: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}

The flop came {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, pairing the jack for Ball. The turn was the {2-Hearts} and the river was the {2-Clubs}, no help to Daniels, as he exited the tournament area.
