Day 3 of Event #17: $1,500 Millionaire Maker witnessed a total of 170 players entered out of a field of 5,330 across two starting flights whittled down to a mere 20 players, all looking to win the gold bracelet and a cool $1,000,000 in cash that awaits the eventual winner of this event.

Philip Verel from Panama City, Florida, bagged 12,665,000 in chips and is the chip leader going into Day 4. Verel is a complete unknown at the WSOP, he doesn’t even have a recorded cash to be found. He began the day with just a dozen big blinds before managing to spin it up to end the day with the chip lead.

A few former bracelet winners that move on to Day 4 include Michael Gathy (9,800,000), Luis Zedan (5,835,000,) and Daniel Lazrus (11,795,000).
