The last week of the 2021 GGPoker WSOP Online Bracelet Events has now seen the first day of Event #24: $1,050 Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha come to an end after 32 levels of play, with just 10 left standing of the 896 entry field. Sitting atop the leaderboard is Daniel Perkusic who has 5,267,659 in his stack, which is about 88 big blinds to start the final day.

The German was already soaring at the top throughout the later stages of the day when he took down the biggest pot of the night. Perkusic defended his big blind, landing a set of tens versus the top pair of Phillip "FUGG" Nagy who called a check-raise on the flop to see the turn. Nagy then pushed over the top of a staggering bet with just his flopped king and Perkusic turned over the bad news. Nagy was still drawing live to a straight but failed to hit, sending a Day 1 chip lead deciding pot to Perkusic who held on to finish on top.

Right below Perkusic on the totem pole is Ami Barer who had an incredible day from start to finish, never falling far from the top. Barer bagged 4,878,902 (81 bb) and is the only other player close to that of Perkusic. Rounding out the top five are Samuel "FishIdiot" Saariaho (2,494,937), Dmitry Yurasov (2,250,547), and the only known player with a WSOP bracelet left in the field Anson Tsang (2,247,353).

"tanqueray10" (1,520,450) and David "Mclovin86" Mzareulov (1,282,476) each have over twenty big blinds. While "trubadur" (945,788), "NowWeAreFree" (821,708), and Fausto "Fantastik55" Tantillo (690,180) are all on the short end of things and will need to make some moves early to break that final table.

The day started off with just over 200 runners and when late registration closed there was a total of 896 registration slips sold, creating an $896,000 prize pool. Just 177 were left standing at that point with 134 set to receive at least a min-cash. The final 10 are all now guaranteed at least $5,712 plus any bounties accumulated along the way, but all have their eye on that $36,224 first-place money, along with the prestigious WSOP bracelet the goes along with it.

The final day will resume tomorrow September 3, at 5 p.m. GMT with the blinds kicking off on level 33 - 30,000/60,000 with an ante of 7,500. Play will not halt until a winner is crowned, taking home the first-place money as well as bragging rights for owning a shiny new WSOP bracelet.

The PokerNews reporting team will be here throughout, so tune in then as the action unfolds.
