Event #54: Big Blind Antes $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em

Dia 4 Começado

Who Will Win Event #54: Big Blind Antes $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em?

Jonathan Abdellatif will start as the short stack
Jonathan Abdellatif will start as the short stack

It's another extra day at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino as Event #54: Big Blind Antes $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em will reach it's scintillating conclusion. At 2 p.m. local time, cards will be back in the air and four players still have a shot at a coveted WSOP bracelet and $522,715 in first-place prize money.

Leading the way is Barry Hutter from Sarasota, Florida. Hutter knows what it's like winning a bracelet as he's the only player remaining who already possesses one. In 2015, Hutter won the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout for $283,546, and a second place or better in this event would shatter his previous best cash.

Hutter's challengers come from different parts of Europe: Portugal's Diogo Veiga (5,195,000), Radoslav Stoyanov from Bulgaria (2,495,000), and Jonathan Abdellatif (1,350,000) representing Belgium are the other three survivors from a 1,020-player field. Abdellatif had a monster Day 2 which propelled him to a massive chip lead of 2.7 million, but he lost half of that on Day 3 and will start as the absolute short stack.

Play will resume in Level 31 with blinds of 60,000/120,000 and a big blind ante of 120,000. Levels are 60 minutes and play will continue until the winner is crowned. Follow all updates on PokerNews as these four will decide who will be the next 2018 World Series of Poker bracelet winner.

Sasha Liu has been giving herself daily challenges and tweeting about them to keep herself accountable. She explains how this idea came to fruition and why she continues to do it. Maybe it is an attempt for Sasha to stay sane while grinding poker all summer, but has it worked?
