Sootla Gets Called Down

Nível 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The board read {q-Spades}{5-Spades}{q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Ranno Sootla put Michael Telker all in for his remaining 350,000, the pot had a little over 200,000 in it. Telker took a few minutes before making the call.

Sootla tabled {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a full house and Telker shook his head as he showed {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for two pair. Sootla took down the huge pot at the end of night and now has overtaken the chip lead from Ryan Leng.

Massive Pot for Oconner

Nível 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

On a raised pot, the flop was showing {10-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and four players were active in the hand. Justin Libert checked, as well as Samuel Miller. Jamie Oconner bet 33,000 and it was called by Jay Farber and Liberto. Miller raised it 115,000 and after a long tank, Oconner announced all in for a stack worth 329,000. Farber and Liberto folded their hand and the two remaining players tabled their cards:

Samuel Miller: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Jamie Oconner: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}

With a set of sevens, Oconner had the dominating hand, and the turn {4-Hearts} and river {6-Hearts} didn't change anything. Oconner earned the massive pot and Miller fell down to 130,000 after that hand.

Quercio Puts it All-In With Nickels

Nível 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Anthony Quercio moved all in from under the gun and he found a caller in Quan Tran, who was in the small blind. The players then turned over their hands and Quercio would be at risk.

Anthony Quercio: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Quan Tran: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

The flop came down {9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Tran would need to connect. The turn fell the {10-Clubs} and Tran was calling for a nine on the river. But none of his outs came as the {8-Spades} hit the felt.

By the end of the hand, Tran was a short stack and Quercio had secured another double up.

Mora Takes Chips From Leng

Nível 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Ryan Leng opened from 17,000 and only Alfonso Mora in the big blind made the call. The flop fell {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Mora check-called Leng's continuation bet for 23,000.

Both players checked throughout the {10-Hearts} turn and {6-Hearts} river and Mora tabled {8-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a pair of eights. Leng quickly tossed his hand into the muck and Mora added some chips to his stack.
