Super Sunday has crowned a second champion in the 2020 GGPoker World Series of Poker (WSOP) Winter Online Circuit and Brazil has earned a second title during the festival in Event #14: $800 FIFTY STACK No-Limit Hold'em. After nearly 11 and a half hours, it was two-time WSOP bracelet winner Yuri Martins Dzivielevski who claimed yet another major title after defeating Justin Park in heads-up.

The tournament surpassed the $1 million guarantee by more than 40% thanks to 1,849 entries, and the top 305 spots earned a portion of the $1,405,240 prize pool. Ultimately, it was one of Brazil's most-decorated players to claim a maiden WSOP Circuit ring and the top prize of $178,236. For Park, who held an overwhelming lead in heads-up at some point, a consolation prize of $133,657 awaits.

Alex Greenblatt was the only other finalist to claim a six-figure payday ($100,229), further notables in contention during the late stages were Harry "Vulvasore" Lodge, Rui Ferreira, Lavrentiy "888WTB02" Ni and Bela "Teemo2018" Toth.

The Action of the Day

Many familiar faces of the international live and online poker circuit added the tournament to their busy Sunday schedule and headed to the rail much earlier than they had hoped for. That included such regulars as Artur Martirosian, Seth Davies, Manuel "robocup" Ruivo, Kristen Bicknell, Christian Jeppsson, Matthias Eibinger, and yesterday's CHRISTMAS PLOSSUS winner Anson "Tara@0z" Tsang.

Once the registration had closed, fewer than one third of the field remained and that number dropped by the minute. Dozens of hopes ran out blank as the tournament with a fixed level duration of 12 minutes raced to the money bubble. Brunno Botteon came up short by very few spots and Ihor "mochalov13" Mochalov became the bubble boy. Thanks to signing up prior to the start, Mochalov benefited from the bubble protection and received his buy-in back as tournament dollars which also applied for David Yan and "loliveprolol".

With the min-cash locked up, the eliminations came an even faster pace and notables to miss out on several pay jumps were Farid Jattin, Idris Ambraisse, Sosia "Aunty_Ninja" Jiang, and Fedor "LoremCDMX" Truntsev. GGPoker GGSquad member Patrick "Egption" Tardif was also among those who cashed, and he was joined in the payout list by the WSOP bracelet winners Chris Moorman, Kazuhiro "propofol-san" Shirasawa, and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier.

Yuri Dzivielevski started his surge with a double elimination thanks to spiking an ace on the river while Davidi Kitai also appeared at the top of the leaderboard. It wasn't smooth sailing from there for Dzivielevski as he had kings cracked by pocket jacks. Down to the final four tables, Darren Elias, Ivan Zufic and Blaz Zerjav saw their hopes vanish while Shannon Shorr departed in 18th place. For Kitai, the end came soon after in 15th place when ace-five was no good against the queen-ten of Rui Ferreira.

Aces Galore for Dzivelevsvki and Park

On the final two tables, Event #11: $1,050 Bounty Hunters winner Oleg "Ad Astra" Vasylchenko had Dzivielevski on the ropes with ace-ten versus ace-nine. Without any chop outs, Dzivielevski rivered a nine to remain in contention. The Brazilian then doubled through Rui Ferreira with aces and knocked out Naum "naumbar" Barulia with aces versus ace-king. Alex Greenblatt brought the field to the final table bubble thanks to a double elimination and Dzivielevski continued his heater with another elimination.

The final table had barely started when Andreas "Duckzzz" Nasman was left with fumes but didn't become the next casualty. Instead, Dzivielevski found aces again to bust Event #11: $1,050 Bounty Hunters Championship finalist "Internecik". Greenblatt then made quads kings to double through Dzivielevski's fives and Bela "Teemo2018" Toth came up short when he ran into the aces of Justin Park. Lavrentiy "888WTB02" Ni suffered the very same fate shortly after and Nasman succumbed in 6th place.

In the meanwhile, Harry "Vulvasore" Lodge laddered yet another spot with a very short stack as Rui Ferreira bowed out in fifth. Lodge then found his master in Dzivielevski and Greenblatt was gone in the very next hand. The heads-up duel seemed to be very short-lived as Park stormed into an overwhelming lead. However, Dzivielevski came back from a severe chip disadvantage to seal the victory.

That wraps up the PokerNews live updates for this event, the next featured WSOP Winter Online Circuit Event will be WSOPC #16: $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship on January 5, 2021.

After one button jam went through uncalled, Justin Park had to forfeit his big blind and then jammed for the same 10.68 million. This time, Yuri Dzivielevski called instantly.

Justin Park: {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Yuri Dzivielevski: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Park needed to pull a rabbit out of the hat for the comeback but it was not meant to be on a board of {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. The kicker played in favour of Dzivielevski and that sent Park out in second place for $133,657

Two-time WSOP bracelet winner Dzivielevski has earned yet another major title for his already impressive resume and collects the top prize of $178,236.

Justin Park stopped the domination of Yuri Dzivielevski for one hand but then faced another setback. He min-raised the button and was called to see a {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop, on which Dzivielevski check-raised to 4.2 million. Park stuck around and also called a bet worth 4,174,500 on the {8-Diamonds} turn.

Dzivielevski wasted little time before betting the {2-Clubs} river for 19.5 million and Park let go with fewer than that behind.

Dzivielevski Widens the Gap

Nível 46 : 500,000/100,000, 125,000 ante

After winning the majority of all recent pots and chopping one when both players held ace-ten, Yuri Dzivielevski has put a gap between himself and Justin Park. The latest button raise was for 2.5 million and Park called, then check-folded the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop.

Park min-raised the next button and was called by Dzivielevski. The Brazilian check-called for 1.34 million on the {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop and 2.74 million on the {j-Hearts} turn. Both checked the {5-Clubs} river and Dzivielevski dragged in the next pot with {10-Spades}{4-Spades} versus {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}.
