Badziakouski With the Flop Bet

Nível 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski opened to 60,000 from under the gun and Stephen Chidwick called on the button, as did Christoph Vogelsang in the big blind.

The flop landed {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Vogelsang checked to Badziakouski who bet 60,000. Chidwick folded, as did Vogelsang, and the rich get richer.

Mikita Badziakouski Shoves on Stephen Chidwick

Mikita Badziakouski maneuvers the biggest stack in the tournament room and there was no doubt he'd put it to a good use on the bubble.

Badziakouski raised the button to 55,000 and Stephen Chidwick matched the price from the small blind.

The flop came {J-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Chidwick let Badziakouski continue for 125,000. He called.

The {5-Hearts} turn saw Chidwick check again and Badziakouski kept firing. He slid forward 350,000 but Chidwick wasn't ready to give up just yet. He paid up again.

So they went to the {8-Clubs} river with over 1 million in the pot. Chidwick checked for the final time and Badziakouski used a time extension before making his move. He announced he was all-in, putting Chidwick to a test for his remaining 1,300,000 or so.

Chidwick didn't need as much time, he briefly scanned his chip-stack and then released his cards, folding.

Nível 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The action folds to Mikita Badziakouski in the small blind, and he limps in. Stephen Chidwick checks behind, and the dealer spreads a {9-Spades}{A-Hearts}{A-Spades} flop.

Badziakouski bets 20,000 and Chidwick called as the turn landed the {4-Diamonds}.

Badziakouski checked, Chidwick bet 35,000, and Badziakouski folded.

Koon Can't Shake Davies Off

Nível 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Seth Davies limped in from small blind with {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and Jason Koon checked his options with rags, holding {9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}.

Davies flopped two pair on {5-Hearts}{J-Spades}{5-Clubs} but he let Koon build the pot, checking to him. Koon bet the minimum - 20,000 - and Davies called.

The {7-Diamonds} went in similar pattern as Davies check-called again, this time for 80,000.

Davies checked the {2-Clubs} river as well and Koon burned a time extension, weighing whether to give up or finish his bluff. He eventually picked the first option and tapped back, giving the pot to Davies.

Bonomo Gets Some Back

Nível 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Justin Bonomo quickly recovered from his loss to Christoph Vogelsang and claimed some of his chips back in a hand that started with Bonomo limping on the button.

From small blind, Vogelsang raised to 110,000 and Bonomo called.

Vogelsang didn't execute any further aggression as he checked down the {J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} board. Bonomo fired 200,000 on the river and scooped the pot as Vogelsang sent his cards to the muck.

Bonomo Uses Two Extensions

Nível 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Christoph Vogelsang put in what looked to be a three-bet to 135,000 in the big blind after unknown action ahead of him, and Justin Bonomo called in the small blind. The flop came {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and both players checked to bring the {10-Spades}. Bonomo checked and Vogelsang bet 175,000. Bonomo called. The river was the {q-Hearts} and Bonomo checked. Vogelsang used a time extension and bet 650,000, most of his remaining chips.

Bonomo went into the tank and used two time extensions.

"When do we get more time extensions?" he asked the tournament director, who told him six players left.

Bonomo opted to fold.

Hand-for-Hand Play Begins

Nível 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Following the elimination of Steffen Sontheimer on the final hand of the previous level, the tournament is now playing hand-for-hand.

For every hand that the two tables play, two minutes will be taken off the clock.

Although everyone is now guaranteed $90,000 due to the forfeited deposits, each player's eyes are firmly set on the $600,000 prize awaiting 7th place, and then the eventual 1st place prize of $5,000,000.
