The 2021 Spring Championship of Online Poker on PokerStars has seen the first day of the SCOOP-64-M: $530 NLHE [Progressive KO], $1M GTD come to an end. The first day saw 3,835 total entries (2,895 unique & 920 re-entries) take part in the bounty hunting but after 7 hours and 45 minutes of play, just 132 players found Day 2 birth.

After the final hand of the evening it was Tomas "MASUR0N1KE" Kubaliak sitting atop the leader board with a hearty 4,383,162 in chips. Kubaliak was the only player to surpass the four-milly mark but "Sajanas23 (3,792,553), CPaiCR (3,621,370), "hanibal1301" (3,517,709), and Paulius "D3cor" Vaitiekunas (3,499,833) all secured themselves a top five stack heading into Day 2.

All of the remaining players are now guaranteed at least a piece of the $1,917,500 prize pool with lots of bounties up for grabs. The eventual winner will be taking home $116,993 first-place money, along with every bounty they claimed along the way.

"E6yperoff" (1,969,069), "neeno1990" (3,280,197), "dasslo007" (3,276,125), and "CallMeGio" (3,042,360) all found a top ten stack as well. "kleinebakker007", who was seen atop the chip counts fell out of the top ten after a rollercoaster of a day that saw their stack continuously shift.

Many notable players managed to find a final day birth and some of those to do so include Fabiano "Kovalski1" Kovalski, Luis "Lg#born2win" Gustavo, Jorge "jorginho88" Abreu, Artur "mararthur1" Martirosian, Thiago "KKremate" Crema, Matthias "MLS20" Lipp, Manuel "manupochat" Pochat, and Luiz "G1a1u1s1s" Arruda.

The 132 players will be returning Monday, April 19 at 1:05 p.m. ET to battle down to a winner with action resuming in Level 27 (15,000/30,000/3,750). All players are guaranteed at least a min-cash of $1,014 so expect play to continue with an onslaught of eliminations off the bat.
