The action folded to Joe Johnson in the small blind and he simply shoved into the big blind of short stack Yuriy Boyko. The latter only had around 12 big blinds left and called it off.

Boyko Gets Short

After a Joe Johnson raise, Harry Lodge three-bet all in out of the big blind and claimed the pot.

The next hand, Yuriy Boyko limped in from the button and Lodge filled up from the small blind, Enzo Del Piero checked his option in the big blind. On the flop, both Lodge and Del Piero checked. Boyko bet 30,000 and Lodge was the only caller.

On the turn, no betting action took place before Lodge took a stab at the pot by betting the river for 150,000. Boyko stared at the board and his opponent for a bit and let go.

Enzo Del Piero once again defended his big blind against an open-raise by Joe Johnson and both players invested 60,000 on the [Kj,Jh,7d] flop. On the turn and river, both players checked. "Nine," Del Piero announced and Johnson then looked slightly confused when Del Piero flashed .

"Double belly buster," Del Piero added and Johnson then nodded to lose another small pot. Del Piero is on the way back up, while Johnson still has at least a 3-1 lead over all of his opponents.

Two for Del Piero

The day had not been smooth yet for Enzo Del Piero and he slowly got chipped down to less than 20 big blinds. A shove of the Brit won him the blinds and antes before Del Piero defended his big blind against the min-raise by Joe Johnson from under the gun.

Del Piero bet the flop for 65,000 and Johnson called. Both then checked the turn and river. Del Piero showed and that was good enough to win the pot.

Lodge Flops Extremely Well to Double

First to act, Yuriy Boyko raised to 60,000 and Harry Lodge, who had checked some pushing ranges in the past few minutes, moved all in from the button. Boyko didn't ask for a count, but quickly called.

The flop of locked up the double for Lodge, triggering gasps from the other players at the table and the rail. A mieaningless turn and river completed the board and Lodge just said "lucky". His double was for 480,000 and Boyko lost almost half of his stack.

Boyko Doubles Through Johnson; Gives Some Back

Out of the small blind, Joe Johnson open-shoved into Yuriy Boyko and the latter called from the big blind for 612,000.

The board ran out and Boyko doubled thanks to an eight on the river. "This plays quite fast," Boyko joked.

A few hands later he gave back some chips to Johnson though, after raising from under the gun. Johnson defended the big blind and check-called a bet of 115,000 on the river. "You got it," Boyko said and Johnson showed already, Boyko mucked.

After a raise by Joe Johnson in the cutoff, Nicolas Beker three-bet big to 255,000 in one seat over and Johnson then moved all in for 1,400,000 effectively. Beker called and let out a few words in French when he spotted the bad news.

Beker Folds to Johnson's Shove; Doubles Through Boyko

The last two hands of the level provided some fireworks.

Hand 1

Nicolas Beker opened to 50,000 from under the gun and Enzo Del Piero called in the small blind. Joe Johnson three-bet to 180,000 in the big blind and Beker then put in more chips than the three-bet. The floor was called and it was more than 50%, thus a forced four-bet to 310,000 obligatory.

Del Piero got out of the way and Johnson moved all in via five-bet jam to force a fold from Beker.

Hand 2

Yuriy Boyko opened to 53,000 first to act and Beker moved all in from the big blind. Boyko asked for a count and the shove was for 669,000, half of his stack. The Irishman called and the cards were tabled.

The flop changed nothing much, but the turn provided a huge sweat. A blank river let the Swiss double and Boyko's stack was cut in half.
