Kisacikoglu Sticks Around

Nível 1 : 100/200, 25 ante

On a {5-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} flop, Johan Guilbert bet 1,200 and Orpen Kisacikoglu called in position. The turn brought the {A-Spades} and in one swoop motion, Guilbert flung four T-1,000 chips forward. Kisacikoglu gave it some thought before committing another call.

On the {A-Clubs} river, Guilbert checked and folded to a 7,000 bet from Kisacikogl.

Novak Wins Big Pot Early On

Nível 1 : 100/200, 25 ante

Picking up the action on the {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop, Nicola Grieco and Stephen Chidwick in the blinds both checked. Andrey Novak bet 1,150 and both opponents called. On the {10-Clubs} turn, once again the action checked to Novak, who bet 3,850. While Grieco quickly folded, Chidwick had other plans and check-raised to 15,000.

Novak used one time bank extension in level one already and called with five seconds left. The {9-Clubs} on the river was checked through and Novak claimed a big pot early on with the {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}.

Rocky Start for Greenwood

Nível 1 : 100/200, 25 ante
Sam Greenwood
Sam Greenwood

Sam Greenwood is coming off what is quite possibly the hottest month of his poker career. Greenwood won more than $1,5 million dollars in the past thirty days, including two final tables here in Prague. The Canadian finished 7th in the first €10,300 High Roller for €24,900, then final tabled the €50,000 Super High Roller where he finished 5th for €147,000.

Today, Greenwood is off to a rocky start as he lost about 30% of his starting stack to David Laka. On a {9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} board, Greenwood bet 3,500 and Laka called in position. The river brought the {5-Spades} and Greenwood checked. Laka bet 8,500 and Greenwood called within seconds.

Laka turned over {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} for a full house and Greenwood mucked.
