Action of the Day

The day started with a flurry of players max late registering as the field of 70 returning players quickly reached over 100 as the day started. However many were unable to spin it up as players such as Shaun Deeb,Stephen Chidwick and David Peters were all eliminated early in the day,

Day 1 chip leader Ognyan Dimov got off to a great start as he continued to add to his chip lead throughout the early levels of the day, Dimov managed to eliminate Nenad Dukic when Dimov had a full house against Dukic's straight.

Kayhan Mokri also managed to develop a big stack throughout the day which included getting value with trips against Anthony Hu to chip up during the middle of the day.

The late stages of the day were defined by a long and taxing bubble however some big hands still occurred. Carlos Chadha managed to secure a massive double through Ben Heath when his queens won a flip against Chadha's ace king. Andrew Chen also managed to double up nearing the bubble as Chen's pocket aces ran into Anthony Hu's ace-king.

Christoph Vogelsang and Bryn Kenney were both short on the bubble but both were able to survive to squeeze into the payout slots. The bubble eventually burst when Guillaume Nolet was forced all in from the big blind . Nolet couldn't defeat Mario Navarro who sent him to the rail asthe bubble boy.

There was a flurry of bustouts after the bubble burst which included the elimination of Bryn Kenney, Christoph Vogelsang, Pedro Neves and Michael Addamo. It was on this prolonged bubble that allowed Lin managed to build up his chips stack to end the day a chip leader.

Cards will be in the air from 12:30 p.m. local time tomorrow where blinds will start at 1,000/1,500 with an 1,500 big blind ante. Action will continue until a champion is crowned. Stay tuned to PokerNews for all the updates.

Dzivielevski Doubles Through Dimov

Nível 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Ognyan Dimov raised to 30,000 on the button before Yuri Dzivielevski moved all in for 184,000 in the big blind. Dimov quicklu called.

Yuri Dzivielevski: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Ognyan Dimov: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

It was a classic flip for Dzivielevski's tournament life but it went all the Brazilians way as the board ran out {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} to give Dzivielevski a full house and a double up.

Andy Wilson Eliminated in 18th Place ($57,900)

Nível 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Andy Wilson
Andy Wilson

Ren Lin raised to 25,000 from under the gun and Andy Wilson called in middle position. Kayhan Mokri then three-bet to 105,000 on the button, producing a fold from Lin.

Wilson took some time before four-betting to 350,000, representing almost all of his stack. Mokri announced all-in, with Wilson using a few time bank cards while action continued at other tables before making the call.

Andy Wilson: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Kayhan Mokri: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Mokri's pair of kings was ahead to begin the hand, with the {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} runout changing nothing. Wilson wished the table good luck as he hit the rail in 18th place.

Roland Rokita: {a-Spades}{3-Spades}
Anthony Hu: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}

Martin Zamani moved his short stack all-in and found a call from Ren Lin while the rest of the table got out of the way.

Martin Zamani: {7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
Ren Lin: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Lin was ahead to start and increased his advantage on the {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop. The {4-Clubs} turn and {3-Hearts} river did not help Zamani, who was sent to the rail in 20th place.

Michael Addamo

Michael Addamo raised to 50,000 on the button, leaving only 6,000 behind and Rodger Johnson moved all in from the big blind. Addamo used some time banks to hope to make a pay jump, and after a few minutes, made the call for his tournament life.

Michael Addamo: {a-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
Rodger Johnson: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Addamo was in need of help and when the board came {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, it looked it he was about to double. The river however, fell the {q-Hearts} and the set of queens for Johnson scored the pot to send Addamo out in 22nd place.
