Ivan Luca will start the Final Table of the PokerStars Championship Bahamas $100,000 Super High Roller with the chip lead. The Argentinian high roller regular starts just ahead of Justin Bonomo with PokerStars Team Pro Daniel Negreanu not far behind.

The second day of the Super High Roller started with 33 players having survived Day 1. With Bill Perkins and Cary Katz as new sign-ups, the total amount of entries had gotten up to 48. That made for a slightly smaller field compared to last year, but still a massive $4,737,600 to be divided over seven players cashing.

Super High Roller regular Adrian Mateos was the first to hit the rail, not much later followed by Stefan Schillhabel. As Steffen Sontheimer, Koray Aldemir, and Rainer Kempe hit the rail as well; no German would even come close to the money in this Super High Roller, a unique phenomenon these days.

Another player to bust out early was Scott Seiver. Seiver had started the chip leader with a massive 804,000 in chips but was gone before the first level up was heard. He lost a bit to David Peters before getting it all in with queens to the kings of Ivan Luca. Seiver didn't find any help on the flop, turn, or river and departed as one of the first on Day 2.

As other regulars like Timothy Adams, Dan Shak, Nick Petrangelo, and Steve O'Dwyer all bit the dust as well, the tournament got closer to the money stage.

Kevin Hart, who had been at the feature table throughout most of the day, made a run for the money but ended up short and busted in 14th place. He got it in with king-queen against queens and ace-ten.

"I'm Kevin Hart, and I need the King of Hearts!" he shouted as his life depended on it.

To no avail, the kings all stayed in the deck, and Christopher Kruk won the hand with his queens. Despite tripling there, Kruk wouldn't make it to the money as he was still short and busted with ace-nine to the nines of Isaac Haxton.

As Stephen Chidwick busted in 10th place, the final 9 took their seats at the last table in the massive tv set. Still, two players would need to go before players would cash. Mustapha Kanit busted soon, getting it in with fives against the sevens of Justin Bonomo.

That left eight players, all from the Americas. The bubble would take quite some time to burst. Cary Katz was short for the longest time, but nobody found the right cards to finish him off. As Katz made an impressive comeback, Erik Seidel got shorter and shorter. Down to just 14 big blinds, the man with the most experience shoved with pocket nines. Katz woke up with tens, and as the board came no higher than an eight, Seidel hit the rail.

Play resumed for another level, but no players ran out of chips, so all seven players return to action on Day 3 on Monday. Cards will be pitched again at 3:30 pm local time with blinds at 25,000 and 50,000 - ante 5,000.

Hands #40-45: Erik Seidel Bubbles 2018 PCA Super High Roller

Nível 17 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Erik Seidel - Bubble Boy
Erik Seidel - Bubble Boy

Hand 40: In the first hand back from the break, Bryn Kenney moved all in under the gun for 710,000 with the {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and he took down the blinds and antes.

Hand 41: Justin Bonomo raised to 80,000 holding the {k-Clubs}{10-Spades} in the hijack and Ivan Luca called with the {a-Clubs}{j-Spades} in the cutoff. The {9-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop saw Bonomo check and Luca bet 135,000. Bonomo called and then both players checked the {6-Clubs} turn. When the {7-Hearts} paired the board on the river, Bonomo bet 350,000 and Luca called to win the pot.

Hand 42: Daniel Negreanu raised to 80,000 with the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} in early position and Luca three-bet to 215,000 with the {9-Spades}{6-Spades} in the hijack. Action folded back to Negreanu and he let it go.

Hand 43: Luca raised to 80,000 with the {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} UTG+2 and he stole the blinds and antes.

Hand 44: Luca raised to 90,000 with the {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Negreanu defended the big blind with the {a-Hearts}{2-Spades}. Negreanu then checked the {k-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop and called when Luca bet 70,000. The {A-Clubs} turn was gin for Negreanu, and he checked to Luca, who checked behind. On the {6-Diamonds} river, Negreanu bet 75,000 and Luca folded.

Hand 45: Erik Seidel moved all in for 540,000 from the cutoff with the {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Cary Katz called from the button with the {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}.

Seidel needed some major help to avoid becoming the bubble boy, but that didn't happen as the board ran out a dry {8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

Hand 11: Ivan Luca raised to 55,000 with the {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Bryn Kenney three-bet all in for 764,000 with the {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} in the cutoff. Everyone folded including Luca.

Hand 12: Cary Katz raised to 50,000 with the {3-Spades}{3-Hearts} on the button and Justin Bonomo looked down at the {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} in the big blind. He moved all in and Katz released his small pocket pair.

Hand 13: Luca raised to 55,000 under the gun with the {k-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Bonomo called from the small blind with the {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Mustapha Kanit then three-bet all in for 297,000 from the big blind with the {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, Luca folded, and Bonomo called.

Kanit desperately needed a high five, but the dealer left him hanging by running out a dry board of {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. With that, the official final table has been established, and just one more needs to fall before the money is made.

Bonomo Bluffs Big

Daniel Negreanu raised to 75,000 with {J-Spades}{8-Spades} in the small blind. Justin Bonomo called with {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs} from the big blind.

Negreanu flopped a flush draw on {6-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Spades} and bet 45,000 into 165,000. Bonomo raised to 175,000. Negreanu called to see the pot grow to 515,000.

Negreanu checked the {7-Clubs} on the turn and Bonomo checked behind.

The {J-Clubs} on the river wasn't the spade Negreanu was looking for but it did give him top pair and the best hand. Negreanu bet 180,000.

Bonomo took his time before raising to 1,000,000.

"Six-seven?" Negreanu wondered.

"Six-seven of hearts..." Negreanu followed up.

Negreanu took his time and eventually folded.

Jumanji Star Kevin Hart Hits the Rail in 14th Place

Kevin Hart
Kevin Hart

Ike Haxton raised from the cutoff and Hollywood star Kevin Hart three-bet all in for 148,000 from the button. The short-stacked Christopher Kruk, who had lost most of his chips the hand before, called off for 23,000 from the big blind and Haxton called to put Hart at risk in the side pot.

Hart: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Kruk: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Haxton: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

"King of hearts," Hart called. The dealer did not oblige and put out the kingless {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop.

The {4-Hearts} turn was no help to Hart, and he wished the table good luck after the {5-Spades} river sent him packing.

Meanwhile, Kruk's hand held to give him the triple in the main pot.

The {10-Spades} hit the turn and Negreanu checked again. O'Dywer bet an even 100,000 and Negreanu called.

With the {10-Hearts} completing the board, Negreanu checked for the third time. O'Dywer bet 300,000 and Negreanu called.

O'Dywer showed {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, the pot went to Negreanu who tabled {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

Dan Shak Eliminated in Massive Pot

Nível 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Dan Shak
Dan Shak

Daniel Negreanu was first to act and opened. It folded to Dan Shak in the big blind and he three-bet to 87,000. Negreanu called in position.

Shak continued for 175,000 on {5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and Negreanu wasted no time calling.

The {9-Spades} hit the turn and Shak shoved for 352,000. Negreanu called instantly.

"You got queens?" Shak asked.

"I got two pair," Negreanu replied before anyone had shown their cards.

"Two pair is ahead," Shak said with a pained look on his face.

Daniel Negreanu: {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Dan Shak: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}

Shak needed an ace, five, or eight to stay alive but missed with the {7-Hearts} on the river.

"Well played," Shak said with a sarcastic tone to his voice.

"Thank you," Negreanu replied.

"I didn't bet enough on the flop?" Shak asked.

"I had top pair!" Negreanu said, "I flopped the best I could hope for. What am I gonna do? Fold?"

Shak left the tournament floor as Negreanu started stacking towers of chips worth a combined 1.25 million.

Kevin Hobbs on Day 1
Kevin Hobbs on Day 1

Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu raised to 22,000 from middle position and Seth Davies called from the button. Kevin Hobbs then three-bet all in for 87,000 from the small blind and Negreanu just called. Davies came along as well and three players took a flop of {2-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}.

Negreanu bet 70,000, Davies folded, and the cards were turned up.

Hobbs: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Negreanu: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

Hobbs was in a bad spot, and the {5-Clubs} turn left him drawing dead. Hobbs began shaking hands with everyone at the table as the dealer put out the meaningless {9-Spades} on the river.

Dan Shak
Dan Shak

Dan Shak opened under the gun for 20,000 and his neighbor Daniel Negreanu called. Chris Hunichen, right next to them, squeezed to 85,000 and action folded to Shak. Shak tanked for a bit before shoving for 225,000 total. Negreanu folded, Hunichen called.

Dan Shak: {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Chris Hunichen: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

Negreanu admitted having had folded {A-Spades}{J-Spades}. Shak wasn't so sure about his chances, claiming jacks hadn't been his hand the last year.

Still, the board brought no trouble for Shak as he doubled on {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. Hunichen now short.
