Another high-stakes contest on the final Super Sunday of the 2021 GG Spring Festival is one step closer to completion. After nearly ten hours of play, GGSF Event H-108: $10,300 Super MILLION$ wrapped up as the nine-handed final table was determined. The tournament drew a total field of 347 entries and surpassed the $3 million guarantee.

A portion of the $3,470,000 prize pool has already been awarded as the top 35 spots were paid, but the big money will be up for grabs when the final table resumes on the live-streamed final table on Tuesday, April 27. Best-positioned for the top prize of $651,821 is Brazil's Yuri Dzivielevski with 7,385,921 and Canada's Daniel Dvoress follows close behind with 7,083,460.

They have already established a gap to third-placed "xyzpoker" (4,821,30) while Christian Jeppson, Timothy Adams, and George Wolff are closely bunched together between 41 and 49 big blinds. The final table was determined when 2020 WSOP Main Event champion Damian Salas was sent to the rail by Dvoress.

The blinds for the final table on Tuesday will be rolled back by one level. Cards-up coverage and commentary will be available on the GGPoker.tv Twitch channel on a security delay of 30 minutes.

Dario Sammartino, one of many High Roller winners during the series on the rapidly-growing poker site, ended up as the bubble boy. Among those finishing inside the money were such familiar names as Joao Vieira, Aleksejs Ponakovs, David Peters, Eelis Pärssinen, Ronny Kaiser, Ole Schemion, Fedor Holz, Artur Martirosian, and Bruno Volkmann.

Holz and Volkmann fell victim to the late hot run of eventual chip leader Yuri Dzivielevski. The Brazilian essentially did what he typically does deep in high-profile tournaments. If he needed to improve, he got there and when he held the superior hand, it usually held up. As such, it was no surprise that Dzivielevski prevailed with ace-queen against the ace-jack of Holz. Only a few minutes later, fellow Brazilian Volkmann put his hopes on kings only to see Dzivielevski spike the dreadful ace on the turn.

Likewise, second in chips Daniel Dvoress needed to come from behind to knock out Damian Salas. Blind-on-blind, Dvoress jammed with nine-six suited and was called by Salas with ace-jack. One of the live cards fell on the turn and that sealed Salas' fate as the final table bubble boy.

Many other notables were less fortunate. A quick look through the list of casualties outside of the money reveals the who-is-who of the poker scene and it would be a difficult task to pick just a few of them to do it justice. Instead, the look goes ahead to the conclusion of this event in two days' time. The PokerNews live reporting team will be back then to provide all the key hands until a winner is crowned.

Damian Salas Eliminated in 10th Place ($62,587)

Nível 35 : 50,000/100,000, 12,500 ante
Damian Salas
Damian Salas

Once the action had folded to Daniel Dvoress in the small blind, he simply moved all-in. Only Damian Salas was to act behind him with some 22 blinds at his disposal and the Argentinian made the call!

Damian Salas: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Daniel Dvoress: {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

The {k-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop kept Salas in the lead but he fell behind with the {9-Spades} turn. Only an ace or jack would do but instead, the river was a blank {8-Spades} river. Salas was eliminated in 10th place and the remaining nine contenders are now on break until Tuesday.

Volkmann vs Dzivielevski

Daniel Dvoress opened to 200,000 and Bruno Volkmann three-bet to 1,384,680 in the cutoff with exactly 50,000 behind. Yuri Dzivielevski called in the big blind and Dvoress folded. On the {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop, Dzivielevski bet the minimum and Volkmann called all-in.

Bruno Volkmann: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Yuri Dzivielevski: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Dzivielevski had back door diamonds and one overcard, which he immediately hit on the {a-Hearts} turn. Volkmann whiffed the {9-Spades} river and had to settle for 11th place.

Dzivielevski Jams Into Dvoress

Nível 35 : 50,000/100,000, 12,500 ante

Yuri Dzivielevski raised to 230,000 as the first player to act and was called by Danel Dvoress in the hijack. They headed to the {k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop on which Dzivielevski bet 265,000 and Dvoress called.

Dzivielevski then fired a second barrel for 911,250 on the {3-Clubs} turn and earned a call to jam the {q-Spades} rover for 2,826,241. That sent Dvoress into the tank and he eventually opted to fold.

Coleman Scores a Double

Nível 35 : 50,000/100,000, 12,500 ante

George Wolff raised from under the gun and called the shove of table short stack David Coleman for a total pot of no more than 11 blinds and change.

David Coleman: {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
George Wolff: {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The board ran out {q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Coleman dodged the live card and flush draw to double.

Jeppsson Takes From Volkmann

Nível 35 : 50,000/100,000, 12,500 ante

Bruno Volkmann limped the small bind and Christian Jeppsson checked his option in the big blind. On a flop of {k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}, Volkmann min-bet to earn a call and then bet another 413,500 on the {q-Hearts} turn, which Jeppsson called.

The {k-Spades} fell on the river and Volkmann bet 909,320. Jeppsson matched that with {k-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and caught his opponent bluffing with just {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}.
