Kiryl Radzivonau (who started with 133,000) and Aleksei Platonov (who started with 237,000) haven't shown up yet today. They might get some extra sleep, or maybe they thought it was a 1 pm restart like yesterday's starting time. We'll keep an eye on their stacks, let's see when they show up.
Mike Watson opened to 5,000 from the button and Ole Schemion in the big blind made the call.
Schemion checked on and waited for the 6,000 continuation bet from his Canadian opponent followed. Schemion then raised to 18,000 with a stone cold poker face and Watson called.
Schemion bet 33,500 on the turn and Watson made the call.
The completed the board and Schemion now cut out 3 stacks worth 25,000 each, placed them on top of each other, and slid them forward over the betting line. Watson thought for a bit before folding.
The poker face cracked, Schemion smiled, and grabbed the chips in the sizable pot. Like he does so often.
We saw Christian Harder walk away from the table just minutes ago, and Viacheslav Goryachev was stacking a lot of new chips. We were just in time to write down the board of and Goryachev had in front of him. We're not sure what Harder had in the hand, but it might have been as that was what the dealer was just turning over. Whatever happened, Harder is out and Viacheslav Goryachev now has well over 300,000 in chips.
The action started with Oleh Okhotskyi raising to 4,900 and was called by the players in the cut off and on the button. Adrian Mateos then moved all in for 42,000 from the small blind as the big blind folded. Okhotskyi then moved all in over the top to force the other two players out.
Okhotskyi:
Mateos:
The board ran out to see Okhotskyi hold with his over pair as Mateos was sent to the rail as the first player out for the day.
Making our way back through the room we noticed David Vamplew make his way to the exit and when we arrived at his table saw Eugene Katchalov raking in a pot.
Jussi Nevanlinna and Daniel Dvorees just bought in this morning and will receive 50,000 in crispy chips. 11 players who already played yesterday but busted, bought back in as well. So that makes for a total entry amount of 307 (including a total of 74 players who re entered and so 233 unique players).
The official structure sheet (PDF) mentions no dinner break today. Then again, it has the 10,000/20,000 level in there twice, and that's not going to happen. So we make the assumption that there will be a dinner break after the sixth level. These ten levels (finish at 11:45 PM), or down to a final table of eight.
