Geilich, Berende and Soika Face Off

Ludovic Geilich opened the action from under the gun and got calls from small blind Paul Berende and Ihar Soika. The three of them had been talking about tangling in online games and now here was a chance to sort it out face to face over the felt.

Balazs Botond never got much going and we just spotted him walking over to fellow Hungarian Valdemar Kwaysser's table. A quick chat revealed that he busted the remainder of his stack with

Sammartino Doubles Through Haglund

We arrived to find Oolf Haglund and Dario Sammartino looking down at a completed board of 
. Haglund checked over to the Italian who moved all in for his last 9,650. Haglund thought for a moment before flinging out calling chips.
Sammartino rolled over 
for a turned set of kings. This was enough to elicit a muck from Haglun and Sammartino lived to fight another day. After scooping the pot he has about 32,000. Haglund, on the other hand, has been reduced to 17,000.

Abdellatif Hands Over his Chips to the Dutch

Jonathan Abdellatif's chair was vacant and it turned out the Dutch players at the table were to blame.
Ruben Visser told us that Luuk Gieles, who sat down with a fresh 30,000 in chips after the dinner break, opened for 1,250. One player called and Jonathan Abdellatif in the big blind called as well. Abdellatif checked to Gieles on 
with two diamonds and the young Dutch player bet 1,800. The first player folded, Abdellatif made the call.
Abdellatif check called another 4,200 on the off suit -turn and check called 16,500 on the 
-river. Gieles showed for a flopped set and turned full house and Abdellatif mucked.
Abdellatif was left with 5,000 which he would lose the next hand. The button opened, Abdellatif shoved from the small blind, and big blind Ruben Visser reshoved from the big blind. The button folded and Visser tabled 
to Abdellatif's 
suited. The flop was good for Abdellatif with , but the -turn in combination with the on the river spelled doom for the Belgian.
On our way back to the media room to report on these hands, we also saw Pierre Neuville walking to the elevator. We expect he wouldn't be so calm if he had chips left, so we assume he's been eliminated.

Nedved Out; Mozaffarian Stacked

On the table of Valdemar Kwaysser and Amir Mozaffarian, seat one is occupied by another player as Johnny Nedved. The Belgian apparently donk-bet a six-high flop with two spades for 5,000 and called all in for 22,000 total with

. Grospellier had first action and he fired out a bet of 6,600 into a pot of roughly 12,000 total. The next player to act folded while Faig stuck around to see the river.
The dealer completed the board with the 
and Grospellier once again grabbed a handful of chips. This time he moved 9,200 past the betting line and he once again found a quick call from Faig. Faig instantly mucked his hand, however, after seeing Grospellier's

Grospellier grabbed the pot and now has a six-figure chip stack with 115,500 to his name.
