Jacob Amsellem Eliminated in 5th Place (€71,310)
Jacob Amsellem opened to 800,000 in the hijack and Fabio Peluso three-bet to 2,500,000 in the cutoff. Action folded back to Amsellem who called.
The dealer spread the flop and Amsellem checked. Peluso put out a stack of black T-100,000 chips, Amsellem responded with a raise, and quickly, all of the chips were in the middle.
Amsellem flopped top set and Peluso's aces looked likely to be cracked as the turn hit the felt. Peluso needed one of two aces in the deck, and the spiked the river as Peluso joyfully screamed "Yeeeees!" while becoming the new chip leader, and Amsellem could once again only smile and laugh at an incredible runout.
A count confirmed that Amsellem was covered and the room clapped for him as he gracefully joined his rail and made his exit in 5th place for €71,310.
