Kassouf Loses to "Lucky Fish" Dedusha

Nível 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Artan Dedusha
Artan Dedusha

Artan Dedusha opened to 1,000 from the hijack and Jean-Philippe Schoonbrood called from the cutoff. Will Kassouf made it 4,400 from the big blind. As Dedusha was contemplating, Kassouf warned him: "I've got a big hand, a very big hand." Nevertheless, both Dedusha and Schoonbrood came along for the ride.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and Kassouf checked, saying "I'm gonna check top two" and Dedusha put out a bet of 4,000. Schoonbrood folded and Kassouf called.

Both players would tap the table as the {k-Hearts} paired the board and put a second flush draw on the board.

On the {2-Spades} river, Kassouf checked again and Dedusha put out a bet of 15,000. Kassouf then called Dedusha a "Lucky fish" and accused him of bluffing a flush draw before folding and tabling pocket queens.

The Second Flight of the €2,200 Estrellas Poker Tour High Roller Kicks Off at 7 p.m.

The 2022 PokerStars and Barcelona©Casino European Poker Tour has arrived at its mid-way point and continues with the second flight of the €2,200 Estrellas Poker Tour High Roller, which is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. local time.

The two-day High Roller event is scheduled to be a big one, especially after the €1,100 ESPT Main Event drew a record-breaking 6,313 entrants, making it the largest live event in PokerStars history. That event is currently down to just three players, with Rick van Bruggen holding a commanding lead over Jack Sinclair and Simon Bouaksa.

Rick van Bruggen
Rick van Bruggen

Just like the first flight, the ESPT High Roller will begin with blinds of 100/200/200 as players get a starting stack of 30,000 chips. However, instead of 40-minute levels, the second flight will use a hyper-turbo 20-minute level format. Players will receive a 15-minute break after every six levels and late registration closes at the end of Level 10. Players will be able to buy back in as often as they would like until that time.

Approximately 15% of the field will get paid, with the winner receiving the trophy, the glory, and a beautiful payday. The first flight has seen nearly 1,400 entries at the time of publication, with that flight currently at the beginning of Level 9.

Follow all the updates right here on PokerNews to find out who wins this event on August 15th and to check out all of our coverage here from EPT Barcelona, hosted at the beautiful beachside Casino Barcelona.
