After a deep run in the EPT Prague Main Event, Gianluca Speranza jumped into the PokerStars European Poker Tour €10,300 High Roller and bagged the overall chip lead after ten levels of play on day 1 with 99 players remaining.

"I registered a little bit later today," he told PokerNews shortly after bagging up 365,500 from a 50,000 starting stack. "I took a bit of a rest yesterday night after playing in the Main Event for a couple of days, so I skipped maybe a couple of levels. But the structure is really great and really playable.

"The Main Event and the High Roller are two completely different tournaments. I like to play this kind of 10k; the field is really great."

Day 1 of the High Roller attracted a total of 245 entries including 54 re-entries. Late registration and a single re-entry is open until the start of play on Day 2 so expect that number to grow as players opt to jump into the action.

Other big stacks include Bahram Chobineh (352,000), Sam Grafton (259,500), Ole Schemion (244,500), Max Silver (241,500), and 2013 PCA champion Dimitar Danchev (240,000).

As is expected of the main High Roller in any tournament, there are plenty of big names. Last year's champion Danny Tang was among them in making it through to Day 2. Last year under the guise of the PokerStars Championship, he took down the €10,300 High Roller for €381,000. This year he will take 102,500 through to Day 2.

The winners of both €25,000 Single-Day High Rollers at the EPT Prague festival Thomas Boivin (70,000) and Corentin Ropert (170,000) will also be in action when play resumes, as well as winner of the first €10,300 High Roller Akin Tuna (117,500).

Plenty more big names will be in action including Michael Addamo (181,500) Jean-Noel Thorel (132,000), Patrik Antonius (125,500), Joao Vieira (117,000), Martin Finger (77,000), Charlie Carrel (70,000), andBryan Paris (55,000).

Here's the structure for Day 2 which gets underway at 12:30 pm local time.
