Oleksii Khoroshenin made it 3,600 to go and was called by Juha Helppi in the cutoff and Ole Schemion in the small blind. On the flop, Khoroshenin continued for 7,000 and just Helppi called.
The fell on the turn and Khoroshenin now bet 20,500. Helppi shoved for around 45,000 and received a quick call.
No card in the deck could save Helppi, as he was already drawing dead, making the on the river a formality. As a result, Khoroshenin has taken over the lead late on Day 1 with less than half an hour to play.
