With the Shark Cage taking place next to the EPT Live webcast and the regular Super High Roller tables out in the field, PokerStars Blog takes a quick meditation on television’s perennial struggle with capturing everything there is to be seen at a poker tournament.

The board read when we found Jason Mercier and David Peters engaged in the hand. Mercier checked the turn and Peters cut out a bet of 31,600. Mercier thought for a moment before announcing a raise over the top for 96,000 total. This move sent Peters deep into the tank.
After a bit of thinking, Peters reached into his stack and moved out a call. The hit the felt on the river and Mercier moved all in for his last 209,800. Peters thought for roughly two minutes before kicking his cards into the muck. Mercier won the pot and now sits on about 475,000.
Mike McDonald is back in on his second attempt, while Bill Perkins is back on his third. The field size is up to 55 total entries with 48 unique entrants.
With the board reading , Scott Seiver bet 16,000. Jake Schindler made the call, and then Andrew Robl folded to get out of the way. The river was the , and Seiver bet 41,000. Schindler put in a raise to 151,000, and Seiver took a few moments before he made the call. Schindler tabled the for a flush, but Seiver's provided the better flush, and he won the pot.
Seiver, who won the 2013 version of this event, increased his stack to 400,000 in chips. Schindler, who took down last year's $25,000 High Roller at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, dropped back to 305,000 in chips.
Daniel Negreanu opened to 30,800 from middle position, Mohsin Charania three-bet shoved from the hijack for 103,200 and Negreanu called, admitting he misclicked with his open.
