Garibli Gets the One-Outer

Nível 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Ilkin Garibli got it all in with {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} from the button for 24,100 against Tiago Martinho, who covered him in the cutoff.

Martinho: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Garibli: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Things looked bleak for Garibli as {2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{a-Spades} flopped, but the last king in the deck spiked on the turn, and the set held up.

Nordh Approaching 100K

Nível 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

We got to the table with what appeared to be a three-bet of 2,250 sitting in front of Adrian Hinz who was on the button and a four-bet of 7,700 on the table in front of Gustav Nordh from the cutoff. Hinz made the call and the two would see a flop of {5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. Nordh led out for 9,200 and Hinz would tank for several minutes before table mate Victor Ramdin would call the clock. About halfway into the minute countdown, Hinz called.

The turn was the {J-Spades} and Nordh peered over at Hinz's stack, looking at how many chips he had left. It was approximately 16,000 and after a quick glance at the board, Nordh tossed three T5,000 blue chips into the middle.

Hinz grimaced, rubbed his eyes, and then shook his head in disbelief. He looked up, as poker players often do in crucial moments, and then grabbed his cards, holding them ever so slightly above his remaining chips. One last head shake from the German and then he folded his hand.

"What'd you have," the player in Seat 1 asked Nordh.

"Ace king," was the response.

"Kings," said the stunned Hinz.

"Really?" said Nordh, a look of disbelief on his face.

A player asked Nordh where he was from. "Sweden," he answered. "Ah, that explains it," quipped the player. Laughter ensued but Hinz didn't seem pleased as he got up from the table to collect himself.

Four-Bet From Limon

Nível 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Yi Lee raised to 600 from early position only to have Scott Baumstein three-bet to 1,150 from the next seat over. Action trickled around to PokerStars Team Online Pro Jorge Limon in the small blind who went into the tank. After a moment of thinking, Limon came out with a four-bet to 3,350. Action folded back to Lee and he called the four-bet. Baumstein got out of the way, leaving the duo heads up to the flop.

The dealer fanned {4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{K-Spades} on the felt and Limon continued out for 4,000. Lee thought for well over a minute before opting to drop his hand into the muck. Limon pulled the pot and now has about 28,000 to his name.

Fedor Holz
Fedor Holz

We got to the table to see two high-profile players tangling in a big pot. With approximately 20,000 in the middle and the board reading {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, Fedor Holz, also known as "CrownUpGuy" online, moved all in for approximately 15,000. Eric Afriat, winner of the Seminole Hard Rock Showdown in April, 2014, was his opponent. Afriat didn't think long before folding his hand.

Holz, winner of the 2014 World Championship of Online Poker Main Event at PokerStars, showed the {2-Hearts} as the dealer pushed him the pot.

Dentale Folds to Gross

Nível 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

In a hand that stretched well into the break, Mike Dentale was considering calling off his stack in a blind battle against Steve Gross, who had put Dentale all in for about 11,000. The bet was roughly the size of the pot on the {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades} board, and Dentale was clearly struggling with the decision, staring at his opponent long after the room emptied.

"It's sick," Dentale said before muttering to himself for awhile as he tried to decipher Gross' hand.

Dentale gave his opponent another stare, grinning. Gross let out a laugh and grinned back.

"If this wasn't a 10K, I think I'd call," Dentale said before folding, saying he let ace-queen go.

Gross declined to show.
