Pahuja Wins Big Pot against Kaverman

Nível 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

At the same time as the seat open on table two, Mukul Pahuja raised from under the gun and Byron Kaverman called to see the flop of {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Pahuja continued for 52,000 and was called before firing the {10-Spades} turn for 125,000. Kaverman raised to 320,000 and Pahuja called, then checked the {A-Spades} river. Kaverman gave it some thought and eventually checked behind to muck to the {4-Hearts}{4-Spades} of Pahuja.

Romanello Shows Bluff

Nível 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Roberto Romanello raised to 53,000 and was called by Vladimir Dobrovolskiy in the big blind. The Russian checked the flop {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Romanello then continued for 65,000. Dobrovolskiy called and checked the {K-Hearts} turn. The Welsh wizard made it 105,000 to go and that won the pot, flipping over {7-Spades}{8-Spades} for the successful bluff with a short stack.

Martin Finger Eliminated in 11th Place (€37,280)

Nível 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Martin Finger
Martin Finger

Mukul Pahuja made it 55,000, Martin Finger bumped it to 135,000 on the button and after the blinds folded, Pahuja shipped it in.

Finger called off his 750,000-chip stack with {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and was up against Pahuja's {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}.

The board came {10-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs} to the turn, but the {a-Spades} river was not a good one for Finger. His kings were suddenly cracked and as Finger went to the cage to collect 11th-place money, Pahuja joined Byron Kaverman at the top of the counts.

MacPhee Doubles Through Finger

Nível 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

After yet another walk in the big blind, Kevin MacPhee flashed the {A-Diamonds} and was working on a royal flush with just one of his hole cards on all walks combined.

Then, Martin Finger raised to 55,000 from the cutoff and MacPhee shoved out of the small blind for 139,000. Finger called with the {K-Spades}{9-Clubs} and MacPhee flopped the nuts with {A-Spades}{10-Spades} on the board {4-Spades}{3-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts}{K-Hearts}.

Soika Makes a Set

Nível 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Ihar Soika
Ihar Soika

Dominik Nitsche led out for 50,000, Vladimir Dobrovolskiy raised it up to 150,000 and Ihar Soika four-bet shoved for 520,000 total.

Nitsche pushed in as well and Dobrovolskiy dumped his hand, setting up a classic race.

Nitsche: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Soika: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Things got bad for Nitsche on the {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop and never improved through the {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} turn and river. Soika is now up over the one-million mark and Nitsche is left to rebuild.
