Dani Stern
Dani Stern

Kenneth Hicks had opened preflop to 40,000 and Dani Stern had called from the cutoff before Sebastian Von Toperczer squeezed in the big blind to 130,000. Hicks folded and Stern shoved for 764,000 but the German made the call.

Stern: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Von Toperczer: {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}

The board ran out {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Stern was covered, leaving just 20 players.

Teltscher Surviving

Nível 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Mark Teltscher got lucky when he pushed the button with {J-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and managed to chop against Steve Silverman's {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} on a {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{A-Spades}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} board.

A hand later he pushed over the top of a raise from Malte Moennig and the German made the call.

Moennig: {K-Spades}{10-Spades}
Teltscher: {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

This time the board was {A-Clubs}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Teltscher doubled back up to half a million.

Eros Nastasi Eliminated in 22nd Place (€42,850)

Nível 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Eros Nastasi - 22nd Place
Eros Nastasi - 22nd Place

Eros Nastasi, who finished 18th in the EPT10 Sanremo Main Event for €22,575, has managed back-to-back deep runs, but his latest just came to an end in 22nd place.

In what would be his final hand, a short-stacked Nastasi moved all in from early position and cleared the way all the way around to Miroslav Alilovic, who called from the big blind.

Alilovic: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Nastasi: {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}

Nastasi got it in good, but it was a flip. The {6-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop put a dagger through his heart by pairing Alilovic, and the {J-Diamonds} turn left him drawing to a single out headed to the river. The dealer burned one last time and put out the {6-Clubs}. Nastasi missed and must settle for 22nd place and th accompanying €42,850 payday.

Petrangelo vs. Teltscher

Nível 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Nicholas Petrangelo opened for 40,000 and was met by a three-bet to 96,000 by Mark Teltscher. Action folded back to Petrangelo, and he made the call. From there, action exploded on the {5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop and Petrangelo ended up all in.

Petrangelo: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Teltscher: {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}

It appeared Teltscher had shoved, and obviously it was a bad spot to do so. The kings ended up holding after the {4-Diamonds} appeared on the turn followed by the {3-Hearts} river, and Petrangelo was pushed the double.

Heinz Kamutzki Eliminated in 23rd Place (€42,850)

Nível 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Heinz Kamutzki - 23rd Place
Heinz Kamutzki - 23rd Place

Two big hands and Heinz Kamutzki is out in 23rd place.

In the first, we picked up the action with around 300,000 in the pot and a board reading {7-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{3-Spades}. Kamutzki bet 140,000 from middle position and Vasili Firsau called from the cutoff. When the {10-Diamonds} completed the board on the river, Kamutzki put together a bet and slid out 190,000, which Firsau snap-called.

"Queen-nine," Kamutzki said and confidently tabled the {q-Spades}{9-Spades}. Firsau then casually rolled over the {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} for a set and the win. Kamutzki was left with right around 350,000 after the hand.

A short time later, Ivan Soshnikov raised to 50,000 on the button only to have Kamutzki three-bet all in from the small blind. The big folded and Soshnikov thought for a long time before making the call.

Soshnikov: {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Kamutzki: {a-Hearts}{5-Spades}

It turned out to be a good call, and Soshnikov was rewarded for it when the {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{8-Spades} flop gave him two pair. The {Q-Clubs} turn left Kamutzki drawing dead, and after the {J-Spades} was run out on the river, he took his leave in 23rd place.

Salter Five-Bets All In

Nível 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Malte Moennig opened preflop to 45,000 before Jack Salter three-bet to 102,000 behind him. Steven Silverman then cold four-bet to 188,000 and it was passed back around to Moennig who thought briefly before folding.

Salter moved all in and a crestfallen Silverman was forced to fold.
