Over on the feature table, a huge hand developed between Nino Marotta and Shurane Vijayaram that resulted in Marotta’s unceremonious exit.
We caught the action on the turn but according to the feature table camera crew, betting remained fairly light preflop and on the flop with all the chips going in on the turn.
On a board reading Marotta and Vijayaram became embroiled in a raising war with Vijayaram four-bet jamming all in and Marotta making the call.
While he may have had the best starting hand in hold’em a devastated looking Marotta found himself drawing to the deck's two remaining aces against Vijayaram’s turned gutshot straight.
However, the river brought Marotta no help and he headed for the rail.
