Dia 1c Terminado
Well folks, that’s it for the Day 1 flights here at the Asia Pacific Poker Tour in Cebu. Another exciting day on the felt saw Sang Yong Lee finish up as the Day 1c chip leader.
It all started with 119 players taking to the felt. This number, added with Day 1a’s 51 and Day 1b’s 76, made for an overall field of 246 players , which surpassed last season’s APPT Cebu 236-player field.
Some of the players who started the day but won’t be returning to the felt tomorrow include Gordon Huntly, Oliver Speidel, Steve Yea, Oliver Speidel, Heath Herring, Terrence Chan and Team PokerStars Pro, Bryan Huang.
Managing to do far better than the above players were the likes of Kuawei Zhong and Kenneth Leoung as they will all join Lee in the top few counts going into Day 2 action on Saturday afternoon. It will be Day 1b's Antonio Martins who starts Day 2 as the overall chip leader.
Another few players who will return on Day 2 alive and well are Sangeeth Mohan, David Steicke and Vincent Rubianes fresh off his runner-up finish at the recent APPT Seoul.
All in all it was 59 players who survived Day 1c and it will be 128 players who will take to the tables of the Waterfront Hotel and Casino for Day 2 action. We will have full end-of-day chip counts and an official Day 2 seating draw as soon as it is made available.
Make sure to tune in tomorrow from 12:15 pm local time as we continue to bring you all the updates from the 2012 APPT Cebu Main Event. Until then, enjoy your evening and go check out the PokerNews Live Reporting Team’s coverage of the PokerStars.net European Poker Tour Grand Final.

The clock has been stopped and the call for three more hands to be dealt has been made. We'll be back with end-of-day chip counts as soon as possible.
Raiden Kan has busted out just short of a Day 2 berth. His tournament came to an end when he moved all in on a flop of holding
. There was a bet of 2,000 and Kan was all in for another 12,400 on top, but his opponent made the call with a dominant
.
Kan would need one of the two eights to survive but even that last breath of hope evaporated when the landed on the turn to leave Kan drawing dead.
The completed the board and Kan was eliminated.

An interesting hand has seen 2010 Macau Millions champion Justin Chan collect a small pot with an underpair to the board.
Chan raised preflop from under the gun and found action from the small blind, who then decided to lead out for 3,500 on the flop. Chan made a read and called before both players checked the
turn and
river.
The small blind opened an imaginative for nine-high as Chan’s
were good enough to take it down. Chan sits with around 25,000.

Ex-UFC fighter Heath Herring has been eliminated from the APPT Cebu Main Event, just moments after fellow MMA fighter Terrence Chan was KO’d.
Herring had 16,650 chips which he moved all in preflop from under the gun holding . Unfortunately for Herring, Adam Monaghan woke up with
and made the call.
The board ran out to leave Monaghan’s ace-king in front to eliminate Herring from the tournament. Meanwhile Monaghan’s hot form continues here in The Philippines as he moves up to 70,000.
